Good evening BC friends, Mom just brought her Sis home to recuperate. YEAH! She got to the heart center in time. She is doing good and was blessed to have survived. My cage
Pepper, my Poppie says my original cage was bad and old. I chewed on it and perched on the skinny wire door for so long that I couldn't grip onto thicker stuff like branches! They got really worried my feet were deformed for life and I'd never be able to perch like a regular Greyman does. Poppie did a bunch of research and talked to lots of humans on the Grey listgroup about cages and everybody told them it was worth it to buy the best cage they could afford so they'd only have to do it once, and not have to replace my home every so many years. They bought the Cages by Design cage for me at X-mas and didn't buy themselves anything because they loved me so much and wanted me to be the happiest Grey possible. I took to my new home right away though fell a lot in the first few months because my feeties couldn't grip well. They put in lots of ropes and stuff for me to climb on though and I eventually built up good grip strength and now have perfect feeties that are really strong! isn't that cool!? Donna mama says the CbyD cages are expensive, but well worth it because now my bird sitter doesn't have to put his hands in the cage for me to bite (Dang, I liked doing that!) and makes her happy because I can't fling my food into the upper atmosphere like I could before so clean up is easy!
Since they also call me Mr. DustyMusty, I don't "danderize" the house much either and since they have those crazy feline things too, they don't need anymore hair or dander around!!! ha ha hootie hoo!
