I am a Sun Conure from Eastlake, OH.

My Favorite is Peanuts..YUMY, YUMY, YUMY. Oranges, and Bananas, really any fresh fruit, and carrots. Oh yea did I say peanuts, peanuts, peanuts (unsalted). Or any thing my Daddy is eating is good enough for me!!
 I likes to hang out on my Daddys shoulder or in his shirt (see my picture). I also likes to hang out on my play stand that my Daddy built me. If I had to pick a favorite I would pick in my Daddys shirt.
 I try to eat any thing my Daddy is eating. I will try so hard that I will climb around on his shirt until I am right in front of his face & will not let him eat. I also hate to be alone. If I do not get all of my Daddys attion I will scream at him until I do get his attion... I'm Spoiled. I also love to be in my Daddys shirt, just to hang out or sleep. But if he does not wear a shirt I try to get in there and can not. so I will latch on to his ear with my tallons and hang there untill he puts a shirt on. HEHEHEH.... boy do I know how to get my own way! I really dont like it when my people yell I puff up & go into attack mode, Usually to defend my Daddy.
 He always takes care of me, I have lots of toys & fresh water & food all the time. He spends a lot of time with me, about 8 to 9 hours a day. He is teaching me to talk. I say hellow, what you doing, love you, I laugh, I say what, and blow kisses. I love when Daddy takes me in the shower! He is getting me new flock friend, a quaker parrot born on 8/30/07 we named him Kiwi.
 I Blow a lot of kisses...I just like them. When the phon rings I say hellow. when I get on my Daddys shoulder I say Love you. When peopel come in or out of my Daddys & Mommys house I scream to let every one know people are here Or if they are leaving..
 When life give you rain, Just get a little sun..

About that Popcorn....
TidBit gave us Stitch's recipe. You get a pot, put some hot Peppers in the pot with the oil and simmer it, then you pop the Popcorn. Sometimes, sprinkle a little Parmesan cheese on it. Mom puts LOTS of hot peppers in it...I like it that way. You should see how I dive into that popcorn head first!!! My skin sister's new Biyfriend has 2 African greys. I think I like this one the best! He can come and shop with us too, hahaha. I had a great Valentines Day. My Hatchday is a week from tomorrow. I hope I get a Bird Day party like I did last year. My Uncle brought over his 2 Caiques, an Amazon, and a cake and we had a big Celebration because my hatchday is the day after mom's. Daddy was not amused. He thinks we have enough birds to celebrate without extras, but what does he know???. I am the resident party animal of the flock. I like fruit...and whatever mom is eating too. I stole my skin brother's Pizza yesterday. He was not happy at all. Hello Chloe, Fortune and Patrick here, we have news for everybirdie, It is a Happy 10th day birthday for the Baby Zebra Finch!!!!!! Lonnie here, just wish you could see proud Beep and Peep, his Zebra parents. They are now able to leave the nest together sometimes... Mom took a new pic this morning. It is on Patrick's page with the other pics... He is growing fast. Our age is now next to the Zebra cage. Hope Ellie is taking notes. Hi Chloe.
How's it going? It's getting really cool here. Tonight it's supposed to get down into the 20's. Mama has been bringing out the blankets and washing them. All the plants have been inside for the past week. I like to snuggle with Mama on her bed. I would probably stay there all night with her but she won't let any of us sleep with her. Hi ya' Chloe.
Wow, aren't you lucky...new cage, toys and playset. It's obvious your daddy loves you. Mama went to a bird show yesterday and brought back treats and toys for us. I like the cajun trail mix the best. I got a new toy with little colored rawhide bones on it. I've been trying to undo the leather knots holding it together. It was good hearing from you. I just had breakfast...a pumpkin muffing. Mama got them from something called a bakery. It was really good (and a bit messy). It sounds like you have a really great daddy. My dad doesn't get to spend that much time with me each day, but I still love him and he loves me very much. I am mommy and daddys first bird love. When I was just a baby I would lay on my back and fall asleep on daddy tummy. So they say. Mom said one morning she came to wake me up and I was asleep on my back on the bottom of the cage. She about had a heart attack because she though I was dead. Boy came she scream loud !!!!!TOM, COME QUICK, SOMETHINGS HAPPENED TO STELLA!!!!! It was pretty funny, but I don't do that anymore. Heat breaking update.
My Daddy & mommy are very nice people. They are getting me two new flock mates (new brothers and or sisters). My Daddy has talked to our good friends who breed Quakers & who have connections with IRN's & we are getting a new Quaker Parrot (hand fed baby) & an Indian ring neck parokeet (hand fed baby). They have not arrived yet but we are very happy. We got the call today 08-30-07 that the first of a new clutch of baby Quakers has hatched. Oh boy. I can not wait until I can teach them to scream at Daddy just like I do!. I will keep every one posted on the updates & what they get named. Heart breaking.
We have had a loss at our house. My brother Dallas (Quaker parrot pic is below) was at my Grandmas house visiting his sister Quasi & Grandmas out door cat snuck in the house while they were going in and out & got my Brother. he and his sister Quasi (Grandmas Quaker Parrot from same clutch) both have passed on. We are very sad at our house. Dallas we will miss you for ever. Fly high & fly far my feather friend. :-( Chloe )-: Come visit me, Chloe, Chilie & Faith.
