 I saw him at a bird show. He was actually hatched by a cockatiel, rescued as an egg from a mommy that always broke all her eggs and he was was placed in with a clutch that was close in age and the mommy cockatiel treated him like he was one of her own.He is a very lucky bird.. |

Thanks for the visit, mom is confused about me too, heee hee hee. I was a resque and she was told I am a Boy but a friend on the BC say's I am a Girl, cause my beak is black, but my beak is part black with light color of yellow or flesh color around the sides mom thinks maybe I still very young and could be a boy that hasent matured yet, or a girl that hasen't matured yet. Me I am not sure what I am except I am very happy to have a forever home and mom and dad don't care if I am and he or she, as long as I stay healthy as I am.

on the channel...he he he! Momma said I have been extra naughty lately. She says if my beak can nibble on it, eat it or break it...I will find it. he he he! I have no idea what she is talking about. Oh my goodness Dobby you are looking extra handsome these days! I never knew Otis had such a handsome brother. I don't get onto the channel as much as Kiwi but tonight I figured I would hog the computer and do some visiting. You sound like my kind of birdie. I hear you like to get into trouble like I do. I love to fly around the downstairs. Mom says I make her crazy. I got into trouble the other day though because I bit momma. She wasn't very happy with me but she didn't hold it against me. So glad to hear from you. I share my home with a budgie. His name is Buddy. I'd love to have a male "friend" like me. I love Buddy, but he's a bit small for me! Hee! Hee! I play with my stuffed turtle. We like to take motor home trips. Maybe, someday, I can meet you and see if we get along. We had a cold snap in Florida last week ... in the 50s. Brrrrr! I'm a 7-year-old female moustached parakeet named Kelly. My DNA test said that I was a boy, but I surprised Mom and Dad last fall with three eggs. Now, I've left two eggs, so far, in Mom's lap. She's flattered to pieces, but says she can't "house" my eggs 24-7 for three weeks. So, she's looking for a male companion for me.
