birds,espacilly cockatiels,can get a heart attack from the big animals...and they know wut to do when do almost get caught.....cockatiels have specail little gland that contains some fumes that only dogs and other predators can smell.it releases their tail feathers.cats and dogs always grab them by the tail feathers.i just wanted to warn u that they will do that and the dog can kill them easily.be careful and watch ur baby very carefully.if u need anything just ask.i dont mind for questions.i know a lot.gave a vote.Come visit me, ozzy~flew away 21 April, 2010~, bonzi, lucky and butterball, tweiker,dexter and blueberry, sonny, kettle, tulip~R.I.P. 8-31-08~, patch~passed away 6/13/07~, kiwi, cinnamon (flew away in 2003), silver, spice, storm, baby, snow, blade, tweety, cricket, lightning, patchy~passed on.3-3-08, peeps(passed away 6-16-07), sky *R.I.P. 12/25/08* & cloud and spirit.
