 I lost my cockatiel Annie the day before I graduated and wanted to get a new one. I did research and found that Meyer's Parrots aren't as loud. Local pet store had two babies that they got in to sell after they were old enough and I got to pick which one I wanted and help with the feeding and bonding before I took him home.. |

Hi -- it's always nice to meet another Meyer's. I live with a bunch of other birds, but I am the only Meyer's. Birdchannel is nice for meeting other Meyer's. What I am blogging you about is -- do you know about the baseball teams on Birdchannel? We did not have a Meyer's team last year, so I could not play, but my fiblings had a very good time. If we can get enough players for a team, would you like to play on the team? Let me know, and come see me sometime whether you want to play or not.

You are a cute little guy. Me, I rarely get food on my face like that. I am a very dainty eater. Also, I don't like veggies. My breeder humans fed me all sorts of veggies growing up, but I refused to eat them. I am stubborn. I do like peas and dryed papaya. Also Nutriberries.

Hi Oscar! I can see you can get a messy face just like me when eating! Mom & Dad really get a kick out of it when my face is covered in my mush! I dont like it there too long and either flick it off or wipe it on my perch. We are part of a "quieter" bird breed, I like to make a tarzan like call and mom cant figure out where I got it from but it is cute.
