 I found Beakman at a very crowded shop in downtown Houston. He was behind glass, and had never had human interaction. They couldn't even tell me how old he was. As a result, he is not the most social bird, but he steps up and sings beautifully. He is making progress every day.. |

Yeah, I think it's quite unfair the way Cockatiels and even Parakeets get treated because we are not these big talky birds. My mom didn't even have to get on a list for me like she did for the Sun Conure she wanted, the store couldn't wait to "unload" me. Well, I don't care, I'm glad I have a new home and 6 people here that love me, and yes I love my playgym it is very nice (I am getting spoiled just like my mom and dad's other birds) Thx for stopping by my page....vote for you!Come visit me, Ducky, Piglet, Petie, Sweety, Winston (the white faced guy), Polly, Kiki, Jamie, Simon, Squirt, Kira, Grumble, Jaz, Chico, Vinnie, Tiki, Lenny, Sonny, Poppa & Momma, Mikey, Janie, Budgy & Blu (I'm the one in the front).

Hi Beakman! That's a cool name. Well, being the old and wise bird that I am, I will tell you my secrets for a long life: lots of naps, a very clean cage, tons of attention, and a feisty spirit. To tell you the truth, my family marvels that I've lived such long life, since I only eat seeds and no fruit and veggies. Don't follow my example! Also, my adopted sister Lilly is a cockatiel and doesn't really like to be handled. But the other day she took a shower and then was happy to be held and preened.. maybe you should try that!Come visit me, Isabelle, Charlie, Xochi, Gerard & Lilly.
