hi there!
hey question...i keep reading that amazons that are feeling aggressive or may want to bite exhibit the eye pinning, tail fanning and a growl. I have an orange wing that sometimes does that when i go up to her, she usually doesnt bite, even though she has her moody days like anyone else....but she usually bows her head and does that classic orange wing head feather fluffin, when she wants a head scratch. is there any other way to interpret this behavior? she is a young one so i am thinking that means she is over excited or just wanting to show me what a spectacle she is! Just want to take as many precations as needed to keep my knuckes from being bloodied, I am a cello player!!! She is about 8 months old i think and is a very boisterous girl. She says hello, but thats about it so far...your talk? Any clues on her behavior?? you got a vote from me, what a pretty amazon!Come visit me, Pico, Lydia & Zowie.

Just wanted to say hello to a fellow orange wing. What are corknuts? I just love all kinds of nuts but I've never heard of that one. Hey Piggy, I just thought I would pop in and say "Hello". I've already visited with your friend Gonzo. It's wonderful that you two are getting along now. I'm the only Amazon in my home...and lets just say my little brother Pippin is super annoying. I absoloutly ador almonds too. Mom gives me a couple a day. They are still in the shell (just the way I like them), and she stuffs them in a toy so I have to work at getting them out. Well here is a vote for you. Hope to talk to you later.
