You're right, parrotlets are pushy little things! Sally used to hide in mom's hair and lurk, waiting for me to get all relaxed and comfy and start grinding my beak while sitting on her shoulder. Then she would jump out and chase me off! She also wouldn't let any of us 'tiels on the playgym when she was on it. I can't imagine what life is going to be like with TWO of them!
Glad you still get time with your mom, and really glad that I don't have to deal with a lory!

Hi Harry!
It's too bad your mom won't let you be her computer buddy. I love sitting on top of the laptop, or on mom's knee just on the other side of it. It's so nice and warm!
We have 2 parrotlet babies joining our flock this week. When Sally went to the bridge in August, our friend (who breeds parrotlets and cockatiels) said she would have one of her pairs make us a new one. Well, the babies were so cute that we're getting two of them! My mom and skin sis both loved Sally very much and were always squabbling over whose turn it was to hold her, so now they will each have their own parrotlet. Or is it that the parrotlets will each have their own pet human? I think that's how it works in the parrotlet universe.

Nice to meet you. I used to have a pair of Cockatiels living next to me but mom saw they was not happy in our home (way to much going on for them to settle in they were a breeding pair) so she found them a home with a older couple that wanted to enjoy watching them. i sure do miss them sam liked to talk to me. maybe a new bird will move in soon lol.mom keeps looking at the empty cage. if we get another i will let you know left a vote for my new freind Joe JoeCome visit me, Khloe, Chloe, Miss Prissy & Joe Joe.

Hi Dirty Harry
Mom is very sad right now. One of our eggs hatched on Nov. 29 and sadly, my daughter just died today. Mom kept her warm and tried her hardest to help her get better. Don't know why she got sick, in fact she was just fine yesterday. She just weaned off of formula a few days ago and was ready to go to a new home. She looked just like you, in fact. Mom called her Little Chick as a nickname, she was fun-loving and friendly toward my skin sister. Well, I have to fly off and let my other friends know. Leaving a vote for you.

We live with two parrotlets. They are really tough. I'm afraid to stick my beak out in their direction. Pebbles (she's the girl) plays baseball for the Columbian Conquistadors, and Braveheart (he's the boy) is their cheerleader. If you ask Peb, she will tell you she is a 'Zon.
Sure hope to see you at the Milonga. If you come, blog hello and wait. Bird Channel has trouble keeping up with the volume of blogs, and lots of bird won't see your blog for quite a while. And if you are having a conversation with someone already, it can take a few minutes to get free to greet someone else. You are not being ignored on purpose, it's just really hard to get a word in edgewise. After you do it awhile, it gets easier.

COME TO THE MILONGA!!!!
The second monthly meeting of the Milonga de Mangita will be held at the castle on July 25th, entrance through the page of Rocky (16847), our very own BOTM. There will be tango lessons for both beginner and intermediate students with plenty of teachers to get you on your way to tango madness. Food will be provided once again by Olly, the other master chef on the BC. (Turk will be dancing with his Betty!!) So come one, come all, and dance your feet off. It begins at 8:00 PM EDT and continues till the last birdy drops.
