 My new Moms grandaughter bought a beautiful blue and gold macaw to be a companion to me. It worked for a little while and then I was not manageable, not very nice at all. My new Mom knew I was a great bird so she was pleased to take me when her grandaughter asked her if I could live there. She knew I liked her house. She bird sat for me before. She said I stole her heart.. |

Hi, I'm kind of new here, too. My moms (I have two) saw me at a bird show here a couple of weeks ago and just had to take me home with them. Wow, are you handsome! My mom wanted to get an amazon a few years ago. That's when my mom got Goofy, goffin cockatoo, for Dad. Well, my mom says it's time for me to go back in my cage so I can get some rest. Welcome to the channel. I love meeting other BFA! It took me three months in my new home before I would let my mom give me a head scratch. Now I want one everyday. I think in time you are going to warm up to your mom just fine :) Me I'm not allowed to sit on top of my cage (it makes me too territorial). So insted mom bought me two playstands that are all mine! Your in my neck of the woods...Parrots are my favorite,(only cause im a lil like them) as long as there not in my cage. but you might be ok due to all your pretty colors. Why dont you like to be covered;I Love it when Mama Covers my cage...i dont see their stinker of a silky terrier who seems to have a problem with me. dont know what i ever did.Come visit me, Ella.

We see you have a husky..please be careful..that's how our little sister died. It's great being spoiled don't you think sometimes it takes a while to get our mommys trained right he he . Those Pesty dogs I live with 3 of them but they are scared of us birds cause we like to sneak up on them when they are sleeping and bite their tails he he, It's funny to see them jump up and look around wondering what bit their tails.
