 I was living in the pet store were Mommy and Daddy did the shopping for all of their critters. Every time they would come in the first thing Mommy did was come and play with me while Daddy did all of the shopping. Mommy kept sweet talking Daddy into getting me. So when Christmas came Daddy got me for Mommy as a Christmas Gift. ~~ Since the folks at the store were never able to find my hatchdate for Mommy and Daddy, Mommy decided to count backwards from the time she met me to come up with September 1 as my HatchDay Celebration Day. She brought me home to my forever family in 2002. (By the way, now that I'm "8!", I don't call the parronts "mommy" and "daddy" anymore. It's "Mom" and "Dad" now. ** TidBit lowers his normal voice discernably when he speaks their names to indicate his newfound 'maturity'. "Mom" and "Dad" say "HA!" **
My HatchDay is September 1, 2002.

I trust you've had a most satisfactory day as the crowned bird of the BC. There's nothing that warms the heart quite as much as the knowledge that your royal portrait adorns the halls here while those of your flockmates gather dust in the dark. *giggle* I only say this because of the rather humorous line you posted with your name. TidBit, you've always had the most adorable sense of humor. I see it's yet alive and well.
