Good Morning Handsome..
I wanted you with me yesterday, I knew it was going to be a fun day and it's been a long time since we've been able to spend some time together, it was wonderful being with you my sweet handsome guy, King Gizmo has opened a museum at the Castle and it was so much fun strolling around with you seeing all the dinosaur artifacts. We'll have to return when we have more time. Why don't you want to come out to Mom for your snuggle time sweety, I sometimes get like that too, but not to often, I have a bigger problem with being put back on my cage and will let Mom know that.
This morning when Mom was on the patio having her coffee, I was calling 'Mommy', until she came in, she let me perch on her shoulder while she prepared our veggies for breakfast, I really like riding around on her shoulder, until Romeo horns in.. The footman opens the door and holds out his wing for CoCo to step down, she stumbles down the step as Maxie's high heels she borrowed for the occasion are a tad big on her feet, she waddles to the door and rings the bell, touching her tiara with a wing tip to straighten it..A very handsome Sennie opens the door, his beak drops open as it takes a minute to recognize his girlfriend. AFTER THE GAME
The August milonga will be a gathering together of BC birdies to celebrate baseball.

This month's milonga will be a return to old times. No flashy games or rides. No races or costumes. We are simply going to celebrate the return of baseball to the BC. Although it is just one game, it will definitely whet the appetite of many baseball enthusiasts. Perhaps we can even try for a real season next year.
This does not mean we won't have fun however. Lizzie will be cooking a wonderful BBQ with all the traditional summer treats. Sam and the Scruffy Birds band will be playing your favorite dance numbers. And best of all we will be cheering for our favorite teams from the afternoon's All Star game. Who cares who won? I just want to tell all my friends how happy I am to see them out on the field again. I bet you are too.
So let's plan on showing the BC Baseball spirit this weekend. There isn't anything better than peanuts and crackerjacks and the old ball game.

I was sitting with Momma when she opened it knowing there was something in it specially for me, and it was! DJ you are so thoughtful, I eyed the toy and pinned my eyes, not knowing what to think. I didn't make it to the Pretty n Pink party either, seems as though by the time things happen around here Mom's all tuckered out. Tell Mom sorry we missed her call, it's been kinda tough on Mom and Romeo lately so she's not really herself right now, but things are getting better.I see you have one of those big coconuts, Romeo has one of those things but rarely plays with it, I think she should put it on my cage top.
DJ it's been so horribly hot here I haven't been outside much lately, neither has Romey and Rusty..It sure gets lonely sometimes being the only Sennie around here, your so lucky to have Sage to play with, even if she does whine about missing parties...Love you big time my sweet guy..CoCoPuff loves her DJ.

Now you will see that our bachelors range from young males looking to meet that special somebirdy to gentlebirds in a serious but yet unofficial relationship hoping their ladies will not embarrass them. I will guarantee every single one of them is a fine example of male parrothood. (I have heard that RaneBeau is the most eligible bachelor on BC, and I don't doubt it for a minute!) The bidding will begin at 8:30 EST, and the funds raised will go to the maintenence and upkeep of all the rescue animals at the castle such as George the Tiger, the racing pigs and the derby horses. So it is all in a good cause, and I expect you ladies to get out your check books (cash and credit cards accepted as well.) Once that fun is completed and our bachelors are all paired off, what have the ladies won? The company and service of the young man they have bid on. This means he will do whatever they desire for the evening, whether it is to fetch food or drink, or to dance the night away. (Smooching is to be negotiated by the couple and not included automatically in the package.)
Once we have all our couples ready to party, the dancing will begin to the fine melodies of our very own Sam and the Scruffy Birds Band. They have added some new musicians and singers, so I know they will sound even better than before, as hard as that is to imagine.
And of course the buffet that Lizzie has planned will be a gourmet feast as usual. And she plans a romantic theme for the evening. (I am guessing there will be a lot of pink food.)
So how else would anybirdy want to celebrate the month of love than by coming to the February Valentine Milonga? I just can't imagine anything more romantic, and I am an old married man!!

Djimo, you know we are such good pals that even though we don't communicate often we are still friends. We all understand how time flies. We still love you all. It's been really cold here-in the single digits brrrr. Peeps and I stay warm in our sleepy teepee. there's no funny business going on now. Maybe it's not the time but we sure do cuddle up close to each other and fight for the nook (the innermost part of the teepee where the second bird not in the nook has to get the outer edge). I win almost all the time and if Peeps does it's cause I let her but don't tell her that. Mom is home sick today and probably tomorrow. We got this big illness in the house. Dad is coughing his brains out all the time. Hopefully it passes by the coming week. Hey, guess what. Peeps can almost fly. Mom decided to give her a shot at it. She sure is something. She is going to get her wings clipped real soon cause she keeps flying on the couch from the cage then pooping on the couch. Mom is getting really fed up cause we are pretty trained and usually don't have many accidents. I think it's gonna end soon though. Besides, I am pretty jealous. Merry Christmas, Djimo (and flock and family). So how'd you do? We got soooo many toys and treats and guess what....we didn't play with not a one. I actually ripped the tag off one and ripped it to pieces. We were soooooo bad today, Djimo. You'd be proud. Now that Santa character isn't going to be around for another 364 days we can be our old selves. I must have jumped off my cage 100 times today and pottied on the floor each time. At the end mom just gave up on us and locked us up for good. She was getting real tired of chasing us and cleaning our messes. We've been in this bad phase where we refuse to hang on our playstands and cage. We think we own the joint and can't be confined to a few misely playstands. We want action, to explore, to chew up things and run on the couches. That's something new we do...somehow jump on the couch and walk back and forth on them and scream. Mom said she needs a vacation from us lately. You belive that? So what's new with you guys? How's the new guy? We are hoping to get Sonny out of here by the end of Jan. He's just loving the attention from the parents but not us. We still can't stand the little fella. OK, hope your christmas was as great as ours. Write back soon. Guess what, I got your package today, and I'm so sorry but I couldn't wait to have it in my cage, so I begged and pleaded rubbed my cheek against Mom pleading to have it in my cage now, so as usual she gave in and I absolutely love it, you always pick out the best prezzies, and it's the perfect color it matches me.giggle. Happy Thanksgiving My Little Ham Bone..
My motto is eat ham, leave the Turkey's alone, giggle. Although there is one in our oven right now, you should have heard that sucker squawk as he was being stuffed in the over with an apple stuck in his hiney, poor bird..
This girl is going no where, once I give my heart away, there's no taking it back, so your stuck with me for life, and don't you forget that..And what's up with Sonny getting to go with Mom and your left on my doorstep? I'm so glad she did, having my little ham with me on this special day is exactly what I'm thankful for. Did you see that big Turkey Bird Ranecrow, getting ready to enter the heat chamber, that sucker is gonna need a lot of herbs and spices to flavor him up if he's gonna be for Thanksgiving dinner..I wonder where his Momma was, I'm betting his Papa has him all peppered and ready to show him in, will she ever be surprised to see him laid out in the middle of the table on the Turkey platter all brown and crunchy. Djimo buddy! It's been too long. Thanks for stopping by to say hello. As you saw, Sonny is staying with us a while. His mom is caring for her brother who can't be near bird dander. He should be here unitl about Feb. He is driving me crazy. I don't like him one bit and I let him know that just about every second. Although it doesn't seem to phase him. He's in la la land, singing and chirping and talking all the time. The parents are leaving to someone's for dinner so we don't need to worry about being cooked. Hopefully we get some leftovers. Squak is soooooo EGGcited. the Orlando show in April is gonna be a real barn Burner. We have 3 people from out of state that are going to be here, and 4-5 from all over florida, and who know how many more we can talk into coming. Knock Knock Knock..
CoCo taps on DJ's window, let me in she screeches. DJ opens the window and CoCo falls in head first, jumping up she hands DJ a little bottle filled with Love Potion #9. I've been getting into the spirit of Halloween, so I decided to whip us a little recipe that was handed down from my grand-mammy, it's suppose to make you fall in love all over again, CoCo giggles. DJ looks at the bottle very suspiciously, wondering if he can trust this this little bottle to hold the essence of love..Being kept locked away is for the birds and he's ready to break out and walk on the wild side again..He pulls out the stopper and chugalugs the entire bottle, it taste funny but he swallows it anyway..Then he starts to feel the effects of the strange brew, his eyes pins and he bobs his head as CoCo waits patiently to see what happens. DJ starts to move toward CoCo very slowly, grabs her by the wing and pulls her into his arms, bends her backwards while running his wingtip over her head and down her back. He whispers in her ear, my little Puffylicious, then looking into her dreamy eyes, puts his beak to her's in an explosive kiss that makes her feathers fluff up...CoCo staggers as though in a trance when he raises her up..Oh how wonderful was that, apparently I've perfected my love potion. Now I have at my disposal the best ammunition a girl can have, maybe I'll share it with JennyLynn she giggles..Having tested her love potion she gives DJ a another electrifying kiss as she waddles out the door to make another batch of her love potion #9..CoCoWitchCome visit me, CoCoPuff, Rusty Playing 2nd Base for the Greyt Grey Wings, Smokey, Sunny, Bobbitt & Buttecup, Romeo & Our Angel Wings Toy Shoppe.
