 Shopping at petco one day I spotted two parakeets in the corner and realized they were up for adoption. They had eaten all the seeds they where given and had only a little bit of dirty water, which I thought was terrible and I wanted to save them but I had just gotten a new cockatiel and thought my parents wouldn't let me get the parakeets. My mom convinced me it would be okay so I proudly signed the adoption papers and named them Buttercup and Sapphire. Sadly, Sapphire died after only a year of being with me, but Buttercup is still around to entertain us all!. |
