Well Mom did it,she came home from the bird fair with me hopefully a cage mate if we get along.I heard her when Mom came in and she has such a sweet voice. We called back and forth to each other but I didn't get to meet her yet. She has to get checked out at the vet. Mom has her cage set up in her bedroom. Mom sd she was a beautiful yellow speckled and gray tiel with orange patches on her cheeks like me. She's about three yrs old. Mom sd she wanted her to be closer to my age. She can step up too,so the breeder has already been working with her. I don't know how I'll get through the next few weeks without seeing her. Now I don't have to sit by my mirror and talk to that bird that doesn't talk back or kiss me. Who knows if we get along, we might eventually have our own family. Mom sd she's up the challenge. I'm so happy again I just can't tell you, just knowing she's here. Thanks for listening to me go on and on about her. Oh, Mom's thinking about calling her MOlly.I can't get that out of my head, Smokey and Molly. Thank you for flying by for a visit. Uh, oh, mom is having trouble with the Bird Channel tonight. I'm sorry that mom and I haven't been able to come by for visit. She's been so busy helping my other mom and her brother with their school work. Then Sweetie has been sick. Today was very challenging for my moms. Sweetie picked the spot under his wing more this morning and it started to bleed. They had trouble getting the bleeding to stop. Then once it had stopped Sweetie would open his wings or decide to pick at the scab and they had to stop the bleeding again. Mom decided to call Auntie Amy for help and advise because she's an avian assistant. It's been a long day for my moms. Mom wants to finish cleaning our cages, watch a little tv, and go to bed. Hope you can fly by for a visit. Mom is so happy that that it's finally warmed up here after a VERY cold week. It was so cold and windy that mom decided to just stay home. i had fun playing with them and Honey Bun several times. Here's another vote for you! Well, Jingle just finished helping mom with his page. They put a whole lot of pics of him on the bottom of his page. There's even one of Jingle in the little Christmas tree in that's in her room. Mom said he won't have his little black baby beak long so she wanted lots of pics. Mom says she's hoping to get the house rearranged today so we can put up the big Christmas tree. Hey my friend, it was brought to our attention today of a very deserving bird named Braveheart. He has suffered unbelieveable cruelty, has been rescued and is now living in a forever home, thank God. Let's all put away our own self-interest this week and band together to make him BOTW. I haven't seen or heard of a more deserving bird. Go to the profiles and type in his name. Let's vote for him everyday and make this happen, and at a perfectly fitting time, Thanksgiving! How thankful we all can be that he has been rescued and is now LOVED!! We have a great group of birds here. They're all SO friendly. I know you're going to like everyone. You see that "vote" umbrella over your picture and the sign that says "My Bird Profile"?
