 Cathy bought me and Pookie to keep Mac company when his pal Beatrice crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Pookie and Mac have now also crossed the Rainbow Bridge so Jheri and I hold down the fort! We make sure everything goes the way it should in the Bird Room!. |

 I'm starting to respond a bit more to Mom. We sing together now (she sings Yellow Bird and I chirp) and I'll puff up my head and close my eyes when she talks to me. She feeds me and Jheri very well and I know she loves us. I'll still bite her HARD if she holds me, though. That ain't gonna change!
 I fall in love very easily. First it was Jheri, then Teacake the Lovebird, then Sprout the Quaker and now it's Betty the Budgie, but her heart belongs to Turkleton!!.
 Many have forgotten this truth, but you must not forget it. You remain responsible, forever, for what you have tamed.

Hiya JazzMan!
Thanks for your best wishes for me and the rest of the flock. Yeah, can ya believe the Thanksgiving season is already long since past and the Christmas one's about t'start. Oh wait, it has started, ages ago, according to the marketing world. In this house it'll start on Saturday, December 1st. I'll be lookin' for those blessings you've suggested be sent my way.
And thanks for the advice about the oven. I've stayed away. Birds that go into the box come out lookin' not so good. Then again, they didn't look all that good when they went in in the first place. LOL about us parrots being expected to be covered in food after a meal. You should see my beak some days while I'm reading. It's deeesgusting! But hey, food's better if you really get INTO it!
