 A friend of my mommy! She had just finished hand feeding two Blue Front Amazons (me and my clutchmate). My mom's son was in pre-school and so she asked if she could borrow a couple larger birds for a show-and-tell/t- eaching time. ( I have flockmates, but they are all small compared to me!) I went with mom to the preschool and we talked about what birds should eat and where they are from. It was great to visit the little kids...they thought I was so cool! We had so much fun together that she asked if I could stay with her. She kept me and I've been a part of the family ever since.. |

Mom says she has enough trouble understanding what I say without it being in spanish! Probably the only one here who could talk in spanish (besides mom) would be Keeta (our budgie sister, who's really a boy). Yes, I do have alot of blog pages. I've joined the Bird Channel in the middle of October. My mom was so proud of me when I was voted Bird of the Week after my first week here. She's hoping I might be Bird of the Month sometime. There's so many nice birds and their parronts here that I know you're going to make lots of friends too. Mom and I really love reading about what all our friends are up to. Seems quite a few are laying eggs this time of the year. Several birds have had their pics taken in their mom's Christmas tree and a few have even gotten their pics taken with Santa Claus. Mom says she's going to take Jingle, Cera and I to do that tomorrow! I'm so excited! Here's a vote for you! I hope you can fly by for another visit real soon! Thanks for the advice about the Christmas tree. I told mom about it and she thought it was a good idea! Mom took our dog brother to go get his picture taken with Santa today. I'm a little jealous about that, but mom said they were only letting cats and dogs get their picture taken. I didn't mind so much after mom gave me some peanuts!
