 My mommy had a peach-faced lovie but he unfortunetly died of unknown causes. She was so upset but then she got another birdy so that she could give another bird a good home but he turned vicious....The bird store happily took back the ringneck and he was happier and thats the most important thing. My mommy really missed having a bird so she bought me :).. |

I just flew by to say welcome to the Bird Channel! I'm glad your mom found you in that pet show. I love your pic! My name is Jingle and I'm new kind a new here. I'm a baby lovebird. I've only been here a short time and already I've met so many nice birds and their parronts. You will, too! My friend Honey Bun sure was right when he was telling me about how friendly and nice everyone is here. I hope you can come by and visit me and maybe even Honey Bun, too. The weather here sure is cold! Last night mom said it was 3 degrees with a wind chill of -12. Br-r-r! Mom was disappointed we didn't have a white Christmas. Instead we have a white New Year's. Thank you for the kind words ~ Skittles was a very special bird whom I still miss this day. I didn't know you could bond with a bird the way I did. I did get another bird this past July - his name is Pico - who won't be a year old until next March. He has the same, if not more, energy Skittles did. And very much the clown.
