 We were at the pet store talking about our birds and the bird my cousin just bought from the pet store. The bird guy told us he had a good bird for us. He needed extra love and atenntion as he had never really been held. He offered a 40% discount if we would take him home. I thought Oh how cute Lil Blu was. I thought why not! Let's see if we can help him become part of our flock.. |

hey Ya'll momma put some pics of our trip down here to alabama.
She took some pics of me in the front of the truck with her. Yep thats where I rode. lol I think in the one pic I was tryin to tell momma how to drive, lol I didnt like those bumps in the road momma said they were bridges. check out the new pics she changed my main picture also, my favorite you can see me well in it. mom is breeding the 2 pair of parrotlets, she has grren pair and a blue pair, peanut and starbuck is either on top of cages playing or next to mom and dad on thier perches, romey has a perch she sits on and phennie is being tames by sis teenager , and freya is gets held by us all. heres a vote for ya on the way out.

Hi Sweetheart!
Happy New Year! I just flew by to say welcome to the Bird Channel! I love your pic! My name is Jingle and I'm new kind a new here. I'm a baby lovebird. I've only been here a short time and already I've met so many nice birds and their parronts. You will, too! My friend Honey Bun sure was right when he was telling me about how friendly and nice everyone is here. I hope you can come by and visit me and maybe even Honey Bun, too. The weather here sure was cold! A couple of nights ago mom said it was 3 degrees with a wind chill of -12. Br-r-r! Mom was disappointed we didn't have a white Christmas. Instead we had a white New Year's. It snowed here off and on for two days! Today everything is melting. Mom doesn't like the cold but she does love looking at the snow out the window and it just wasn't around long enough. Of course it never is around long enough for mom because she grew in Massachusetts. Here's a vote for you! I hope we can come by for a visit! Hi from St. Patrick D'bird
Hi Lil Blu, talk about a blast....... today Lonnie told Ellie to just build the nest herself. He quit trying and I think she has it the way she wants it. I hope everything is A O K. We have just been watching the commotion in the house today. Mommy has been frantic. First, Stormy (male cockateil) attacked Haji (female cockateil)who is his mother-in-law. He bit her foot BAD.....because she dared to look at an egg that Cocomo (her daughter) had laid. Mommy took care of the injury but was upset. She was so upset that she took care of Fortune but forgot to lock the cage. When Mommy went to town to run errands, Fortune got out. He chewed up the vaccumn cleaner, the corners of the sofa and the #3 on Daddy's remote control. He spent all day yelling "Patrick Did It!" while our new puppy chewed a hole in the hem of Mom's table cloth. hehe The place was a 3 ring circus today. Mommy loves us all anyway. She moved Haji to another cage. Put Fortune in his cage and used a whole roll of electrical tape to repair the vaccumn. After cleaning up the mess. She finally got us all to bed. What a day. She said she was just glad that the vaccum was unplugged or Fortune would be a goner. Ellie and I laughed and laughed. The latest egg count is cockateils 4-Finches 3. Hey Lil Blu, Yesterday the pups were fun, but today I started working on my new years goals. I vowed to be nice to all the skin family. This morning I let Kaylee hold me. She was OK...sometimes I am leary of little kids. They might get too rough. Mom would be very upset if I nipped her. But Mom watched both of us closely and I have to admit the little girl gives good scritches. Well, I am flying by to vote for everybirdie. Hope I can celebrate with you as BOTW soon. Hi from St. Patrick D'bird
This is a great day. I decided to start the new year being sweet to Mommy. I was so nice she shared two bites of dry pancake with me this morning. we are trying to watch the Tournament of Roses Parade. We keep getting interupted. I flew up on top of Lonnie and Ellies cage and sat there for a while. Mommy had to get me off and put me back on the stand. She said that I was frightening Ellie(society finch) Lonnie tried to get her to come out and say HI to me but she kept hiding. I'm grooming myself right now...Maybe I forgot to comb my feathers this morning and that scared her.
