 My dad and I were shopping for my mom this past Christmas, and we dropped into the pet store. We saw Ivy with the other budgies. She was going up to each one and chattering and chirping to them. It was so cute. So, we got her for my mom, who couldn't resist Ivy. It was love at first sight for all of us!!!. |

millet, "Healthy Toppings" (dried veggies you put on top of seed and pellets)
 my cage, in long hair, random places (like behind seat cushions)
 the sound of anything being crumpled up, like paper; people getting up in my personal space
 She talks to me and teaches me how to whistle and "Step Up". She makes sure I don't get freaked out by new things, and always knows what I want. (She also lets me snuggle with and fall asleep against her nose.)
 sliding down my cuttlebone to get to my perch, hopping to my high perch right in front of my toy to make the bell ring, hanging out in random places.

Patrick here, we had lil skin niece over night. She was hoppin and boppin all over the place. Mom finally got our voting done...but blogging was pretty much out of the question. hehe...We heard her way before daylight this morning going full steam ahead. Hi Ivy!!!!
My name is Jacques. I'm a cinnimon mutation cockatiel also from New York. I was hoping to make some new friends and I saw you while I was flipping through all the profiles so I thought I should stop and introduce myself. My mom's mom has a budgerigar that looks like you exept she's alot older. She was rescued from an abusive family along with many other animals. My mom would put her on the Bird Channel (BC) but she doesn't have any pictures. I hope we can be good friends. Here's a vote. New trick...
I learned how to hang off of my toy upside down today. It made everyone laugh and give e millet and LOTS of attention, so I think it's a keeper...Come visit me, Sammy & Ivy.
