 One summer day I heard a racket out of my back window. When I went to look it was a bunch of Grackles chasing this little blue and whit Parakeet. So I went out and tried to catch her. Well, I had no luck for 2 days and thought she would probably not make it out there. I set up a cage out there and kept going to look for her. One day there she was on my rose bush so off I went. I put seed in my hands and talked to her. After about an hour she sat in my hand and ate. Then I grabbed her and put her in cage and off to vets we went. Put up posters and called pet stores but no one claimed her. So she became the little light of my life. She passed just recently and I had her cremated and put her up on her shelf where she always sat. Such a little bird with such a big heart and personality.she is missed every minute of every day.. |

Sorry mom took so long to get back she has been busy.. and were sorry for the loss. We do know how that feels. We lost kiwi in may ,, an it feels like yesterday.. my mom still cries for him.. that how they got me.. my dad and brother thought it would help.. but mom still misses him. Noah is pretty. and they can be a joy. I'm sorry for your loss, our flock lost Takitimu in late Dec. Daddy liked Takitimu a lot and misses her alot. But we know have Snowy to soften the pain. Well you take careCome visit me, Snowy, Takitimu (died Dec. 28, 2007), Yarra, Sunny & Clancy.

i hope you get to say hi to my big sister, Zitkala, who was killed by a hawk in October 2007. We miss her very much. Mommie says I'm more hyper than "First Bird".
Weeeellllll, I am younger, too! Daddy hopes I never grow up and get boring.

what a beautiful story
Here's a vote for Keeko and a pretty poem I found in her memory and for all of our babies who have left us just for now:
