Our first bird died and we missed having a bird so much that my husband insisted on getting another one. We picked him up at an aviary.
Tessie is now 2 years old and is a yellow sided green cheek conure. He is on the small side but has a HUGE personality. He runs the household. We believe he is male because he puffs up and tries to hump my hand or my feet when I have socks on.

Hi! My name is Tequila Sunrise

I am a Green-Cheeked Conure from Vallejo, CA.

Baby Bird

9 years old   M

Green-Cheeked Conure

Apples,yogurt,g- rapes,waffles
and SEEDS and I like to taste anything daddy has on his plate especially yogurt and ice cream

Our shoulders..
under the blanket in our laps.
He has taken to hanging on the neckline of my shirts. He'll sit there and just watch me do my homework, or my chores.
On top of one of his cages when it's in front of the windows. He sits there for hours watching life outside, and squawks at the pigeons that fly by. I like to travel in the car and sit on the head rest to watch everything.

Blue or yellow rubber gloves.
The cat.
Being put to bed.
Loud noises.

They are crazy about me! They spoil my little self and take very good care of me. I like to get under daddy's beard and nap. I like to chew on mommie's earrings too, and I get in trouble for it. I like shiny, sparkly stuff. Mommie says I am a little dragon.

Hanging upside down from daddy's goatee.
Attacking that other bird on the bathroom counter (the one in the mirror).
Tries to bath in our water glasses or any container with water in it, including the sink full of soapy dishwater.
Attacking the cat. Trying to eat anything shiny. She has broken 4 silver chains, one 14 karat white gold chain, removed the crystal from a setting.

Look out below!.
