 His previous owner wasn't too nice to him. He told the rescue organization that if they didn't come get him right away, they'd throw him in the trash. I was looking for a Senegal at the time, so I contacted the group after seeing their posting on a Poi e-mail list.. |

 Monkeybird, piggy and bubba.
 13 years old  M
Nuts! Also, sugar snap peas, quinoa, apples and broccoli.
 On my wingdow perch in the sun or my sleepy perch, a rope perch that hangs across the cage. Also, at the bottom of the cage to shred the newspaper.
 People getting too close to my cage.
 She lets me sleep in on the weekends.
 Sometimes I like to walk upside down on my perch, and right before bed I do laps around the cage, inspecting each corner..
 If it's edible, I'll eat; if it isn't, I'll shred it..

Bixby appears to be a Senegal. I have one too. She's named Jay Bird and when you see her, you'll understand why!. My vet named her - silly sense of humor. In some ways I'm sad that Jay Bird is naked and doesn't have the beautiful vest like Bixby, but Jay wouldn't be the same if she was "fully clothed". Bixby is very pretty -- er, handsome!
