 I found a bird breeder with two baby caiques and once I met the Winslow, I had to have him. I waited and waited till he was old enough and on December 20th I got to bring him home.. |

That was a close call. We have a squirrl that keeps coming to Mom's bird feeder to eat their food. Didn't know they would bother us to. Thanks for the warning. Mom will be on the look out for that. Romeo a big poo bird, he says I love you to wrap Mom around his toes. He know how to work her. Did I tell you that he calls his cage his jail cell. He would stay outside it 24/7 if allowed. And he would like it even better if he could sit in Mom lap all the time. He can never get enough attention.
I'm an independent girl, I like to cuddle but I need my space to. I also love my cage, sometimes I'll even try to bite if you mess with me while I'm on my cage. Good Morning Winslow
Romeo is in big time trouble today, he got in Smokey's cage while she was fixing our breakfast and had Smokey screaming. She banned him to his cage.He kept saying I love you, thinking Mom wouldn't put him in time out. He doesn't try to bother me like that he knows i'll bite the dickens out of him. Smokey on the other hand, all he can do is scream. Mom has to keep me and Romeo away from the tiels also, I haven't tried to hurt them but Mom says accidents happen. Romeo would bite their heads off in a minute. He's constantly climbing on their cage and trying to get them. I think it's cause their so little and fluttery. It gets Romeo excited. He gets timeout all the time for that. We may have to wait now. Mom got a new birdie yesterday. Her name is Molly. She's a cockatiel for our Smokey who is very lonely since he lost his cage mate. She's a pretty thing and we'll have her picture up soon. Mom still wants a caique, but we'll have to wait a while. My mom has fallen in love with Caiques, she wants one really bad, is waiting on the bird fair in May in hopes they have some. The one in PetSmart is 1100 but it's so adorable. You are quite a character!you must be a handful.I love your vigor for life.You must of been a sight when you mom pick uo the cover to your cage and seen what appeared to be winslow but changed your color.I would of loved to have seen that!Winslow you won my heart ,because I Jolie love to dump food bowls myself,but I do it on my tree and I can't roll in it like you can.That quirky thing you do about sleeping on your side,nice imitation of humans.I like to use a spoon myself.I laugh when there is something funny on tv, or when my dad is trying to be funny.I also like to bark ,in fact, I'm barking right now.I like to wolf whistle too!And say a whole bunch of other stuff.I think your a very smart birdie doing these things so young.Here's a vote for you winslow,I love your name,and personality!
