 I walked into petsmart and everybody knows me there cause I do rescue and a employee asked If I wanted a lutino pied cockatiel that his kids didn't want anymore cause they were off to coledge. I think he might of not got enough attention because he didn't want to come out of his cage and would bite if you got a hand near and he hates bird covers! He's doing better though. But you can't just get a bird and not pay attention to it, and also get rid of it when it's already 9 years old, a bird isn't a toy! he lives the life that he never had. He also was fed parrakeet food which is almost strickly millet, bad thing! He had diaria so bad that he could of died from it! The vet told me to give 2 drops of pepto Bismol twice a day and believe me its a miracle drug! It worked and he is back to normal. He didn't know what to do with cockatiel food. The guy was to lazy to switch from parrakeet food that he had eversince he was a baby to adult cockatiel food!. |

Boy are you lucky Mom came along when she did, you could have died. My previous owner just dropped me off at a vet clinic until Mom came in and rescued me. I still don't like being picked up or cuddled. We don't know how old I am either. I'm happy now, Mom lets me be me. I've learned to talk and I can do the wolf whistle. Hi Patrick here, Mommy made it home from church and the little skin niece is with her. Slate and Mica moved into the bird room wirh us this morning. They moved into a larger cage. Yes, they promptly escaped while Mom and Dad were gone. They wouldn't get out of the room and just ran around climbing on everybirdies cage to visit.
