Lala & Oliver
Hello,
We Cockatoos are very loving and high maintenance birds for that reason we have been greatly misunderstood. We are very fun loving birds, the only thing we want in return is lots of love. It sounds to me that both of your birds were badly treated. Lack of attention can cause them to start scream. Obviously someone was also physically abusing them, it is very sad to see that. Both of my babies were also abused, I worked very hard with Lala to get her to start screaming and not to be afraid of me. She was only about two years old when I got her, now she is about 3yrs old and she is showing great progress. She loves hugs, kisses, she is a great talker and now she sings Lala song too. I am going to teach her more songs to sing. It will take some time, but your babies will be just fine. Love Lala and OliverCome visit me, Oliver & Lala.

Oliver & Lala
Hello Ariel, You are so beautiful. I feel with little time and effort she is going to be just fine. Most of the cockatoos love to cuddle. My baby just love to be held, she wasn't treated well either, but she bounced back. I am very lucky that she doesn't bite, but she does scream when she doesn't get attention. You don't know what was done to her for her to try to bite. I baby was living off of her dropping. I have keep changing her liner, becuase she still sometimes will try to eat her dropping. Hi Pretty Birdie!
You got my vote I hope I can get one back! I help lots and lots of birds with problems like my sister Gracie I rescued her but the sad part is that she can't fly but that doesn't stop her come check out my flock!

I'm glad you found a good home!!My name is Buddy and I'd like to welcome you to BC!!! I am an African Grey and I live in Nj with A Hahn's named Gracie and a Conure named Lil Bird!! I have been on BC for 10 months and have made many wonderful friends! What a wonderful story, I'm so glad ur happy now. Your where u were meant to be. I was lucky, My first Mom was the right one, she adores me and let me play outside my cage a lot, I also get to cuddle with her. She has taught me to talk, so now I can tell her how much I love her. I have my own sleep cage cause I go to bed at 8:00. I need my beauty sleep, but I'm up at 7:00, I start telling Mom I love You and she gets me out of my cage. Have I got her wrapped or what. heehee You really are a pretty girl. just a continued word about Ariel....
She is a Triton too... which is another form of Sulfer-Crest...
We had watched her grow up in the bird shop and she was always such a sweet bird. We were so pleased when she got a home that would love her...but then she came bck and was so changed...We couldnt deal with it... because we had known what she was like before....I dont think she was purposely abused, but she was different...
It took us about 6 weeks to get our wonderful sweet girl back....but she is back to asking for kisses, and giving kisses...biting is not in her vocabulary...and shes such a busy happy girl!Come visit me, Miss Belle, DinkerDoo & Ariel.
