I am a Jenday Conure from Mukilteo, WA.
 We just call him Fender, and JAWS!

El Paso Nutri-Berries. We call them birdie breakfast bars...... Almonds, apple, Satsumas!
 Fen likes to hang out on top of his cage, in his Hibiscus tree, or on his rope spiral.
 Fender doesn't like it when I put toys on the top of his cage. He will run and immediately, and usually with a lot of noise and wrestling, throw them as far away from the cage as possible.
 I love my mom. She loves me, even when I am mean to daddy. She brings me clean water several times a day, and cooks up yummy hot food every evening. I don't like it when she brings me vegetables, but will gladly accept fruit and nuts!
 Fender gives kisses when I ask him to. He will stretch out his neck, open his mouth, and lick me... Fen loves to drink juice out of his juice bowl. He doesn't even look to see what it is, he knows it will be good!.

I love Christmas, too!

My name is Ces Erdman and I am a huge bird dork! At the moment there is not a Bird Club in Wilmington, NC. So, I decided to start one myself! Come to find out, there are a lot of bird lovers in the Wilmington area and no where to express our interests. Tweety needs your votes for her poem. Her foot had to be amputated Feb. 26th due to the main blood supply being cut in her leg. We had to separate her from her cage mate. I wanted to get her a big cage to move (fly around) in and after paying 258.00 for her leg to become amputated we could not afford to buy her the cage of her dreams. From your Birdie Buddy
Hello to my entire birdie buddies here at Bird Channel. My Mom is working many hours right now so she has no time for us to come visit you, so we are stopping by very quickly while I am setting on Moms shoulder to say Hello & to wish you & your families a very Happy New Year. I got many toys for Christmas & Mom even let me unwrap my own Christmas presents that she had wrapped in brown paper bags & she cut them so that no glue is on it, or ink so, I am safe to open these presents from Mom & Dad, & plain white paper that Mom gets for me at the News Paper Business. I had much fun un-wrapping my toys because Mom wrapped them so good it took me a week to fully un-wrap one present, but I loved it because as you know, we love to rip paper apart being the birds we are. *squawk* Mom promises to let us come visit as soon as she is through with her job project she has going. She is under a timeline, so she is working many hours every day, daily & nightly & has no time for us to come visit, but I told Mom this morning that I wanted to come on Bird Channel & wish all my birdie buddies a Happy New Year & to say Hello. She said it was ok & made me happy today by letting me set on her shoulder while she works & we visit all of you. Veggies
Fender, I read you don't like veggies. Zuni, my Jenday, is not as fond of them as fruit and nuts too. However, I got her to eat carrots. I love those little carrots, and the dog does too. We sit on the couch munching on our carrots. Zuni got curious (like why are they even putting those vile things in their mouths), then she got jealous. So now all three of us munch on our carrots together, and Z will even eat one on her own in her cage - one of the few veggies I don't need to steam for her to eat.Come visit me, Zippi, Independence "Indy" RIP, Zuni & Chiquito ~ RIP ~ he died May 30, 2009.

What a character! Thanks for visiting my bird, Shadow. To tell you the truth, I'm not certain that any Kale actually gets into the bird. He sure likes shredding it though! My tiels, Leaf and Twig, they really like the stuff. Shadow likes to shred brocolli stalks, too. I hope that some of it accidentally gets into him. That's funny that he throws toys off the top of his cage. Leaf gets upset about certain things on top of the fridge, where he and Twig have a clubbhouse. Cereal boxes are ok. In fact, beware when getting them, because they are often well guarded. But anything small up there gets yelled at and thrown off by Leaf. Come visit me, Twig, Leaf & Shadowfax.
