Hello!
My name is Ces Erdman and I am a huge bird dork! At the moment there is not a Bird Club in Wilmington, NC. So, I decided to start one myself! Come to find out, there are a lot of bird lovers in the Wilmington area and no where to express our interests. In the beginning this site will be a way to communicate with other bird lovers, ask questions, find birds to adopt, read interesting articles, share bird links, find bird sites, and of course share pics of our babies! Hi Dash
I think Diamond Doves are so pretty. I almost bought a pair over the week end but decided to learn a little more first. You are such a pretty bird Dash. Are you the size of a Mourning Dove? I rescued a 2 day old dove and was able to successfully release him. He still comes to our house to eat!
I'd like to know if you little Diamonds have down type feathers? What are some of your habits? What kind of cage would you recommend? Favorite treats? Anything you'd like to tell me about them I'd like to read.

I have five diamond doves, but unfortunately none of them are tame enough to sit on me. You're very lucky! I love my doves very much though and I always say hello and watch them play. And a must is an "I love you" at least once a day. Carion Come visit me, Cash, Juunana, Bakura, Walter Poe & General Grievous.

My sisters boyfriend raises doves that are injured or have fallen out of thir nest. The adult ones used to living in the wild he lest go after they heal. The babies he keep because the are so used to human touch they may not make it in the wild. They think he is mom and will not let any one hold them if he is near.
Tweety needs your votes for her poem. Her foot had to be amputated Feb. 26th due to the main blood supply being cut in her leg. We had to separate her from her cage mate. I wanted to get her a big cage to move (fly around) in and after paying 258.00 for her leg to become amputated we could not afford to buy her the cage of her dreams.
