Hello! My name is Ces Erdman and I am a huge bird dork! At the moment there is not a Bird Club in Wilmington, NC. So, I decided to start one myself! Come to find out, there are a lot of bird lovers in the Wilmington area and no where to express our interests. In the beginning this site will be a way to communicate with other bird lovers, ask questions, find birds to adopt, read interesting articles, share bird links, find bird sites, and of course share pics of our babies! Maybe as interest grows, we will be able to start a real Wimington NC Bird Club. If you have any suggestions please let me know. Were it not so inspiring, it would be TOO CUTE!!! Mom and I have tried...REALLY we have! But neither one of us can figure out exactly how many of you there are!! Maybe if you tell us your names.... ~~ We saw you on a new birdy-friend's page, and your name just drew us to you. We HAD to see for ourselves. And WHAT A SIGHT. Mom used to have a collection of finches which included some Zebras, but she says she never ever even thunk about letting them outa their cages like yous guys. NOW you tell us! I'm not sure how I woulda reacted, though. I tend to duck and weave whenever I catch sight of your wild cousins outside my windows. Thanks Circle of Life - that you are! Thank you for the congrats for Skittles receiving her Bird of the Month Award! I'm very proud of her. I never realized that Zebra Finches could be tamed like that - I love it! I've always thought they were not only interesting, but very pretty birds. wow that is cool to have all those little ones. Tweety needs your votes for her poem. Her foot had to be amputated Feb. 26th due to the main blood supply being cut in her leg. We had to separate her from her cage mate. I wanted to get her a big cage to move (fly around) in and after paying 258.00 for her leg to become amputated we could not afford to buy her the cage of her dreams. We notice that she flies a little to get around her cage and can defiantly use a bigger one.
