I’m a ‘new fid on the block’ too! I can get what it’s like to have to try to break the ice, and start making new friends here on the BirdChannel. I may live in the South, but I’m FROM the North, so I know ‘breaking ice!’ So I said to myself, I said “Self, wouldn’t it be easiest to start off talking to fids who are just as nervous as you are? Hi, I've never met another Asa before. I've met an Asha and she's really, really, really cool. I'm AsaMina Sura. I turned out to be a girl Asa. My Grandma said she couldn't tell by my egg what I was gonna be, but I got named Asa cause it's a good Hebrew name and I hatched during the third day of Hanukkah. Is that how you got your name, too? Or were you named after good King Asa in the bible? It is a cool name to have, huh? It's nice to meet you and, yes, shirts are a BLAST to chew, but not half as much fun as concrete. It takes me only 3 hours to get through a manacure perch, but I'm working on that. Hopefully soon I'll have it down to 2 hours. You have a super day Asa!
