Hello!
My name is Ces Erdman and I am a huge bird dork! At the moment there is not a Bird Club in Wilmington, NC. So, I decided to start one myself! Come to find out, there are a lot of bird lovers in the Wilmington area and no where to express our interests. In the beginning this site will be a way to communicate with other bird lovers, ask questions, find birds to adopt, read interesting articles, share bird links, find bird sites, and of course share pics of our babies! Maybe as interest grows, we will be able to start a real Wimington NC Bird Club. If you have any suggestions please let me know. Hi Apolo
Hi Apolo, my name is Pippin, and I am a 1 year old senegal from Florida. My favorite place to hang out is under my daddy's chin where I can snuggle and get my feathers stroked. My favorite treats are pine nuts and corn on the cob. I have tried almonds, but am not too crazy about them or grapes. My daddy has taught me how to whistle "Yankee Doodle", but I like to be creative and change the melody sometimes. I also do the wolf whistle a lot and then like to play with other sounds that I hear.Come visit me, Pippin.

Apolo truly is a special (and lucky) little bird! Oliver, my F Senegal also has splayed legs. She makes farting noises and then laughs. (My husband encourages this nonsense!) Anyway, thanks for visiting and bless you for your huge and loving heart - a rescued bird is a wonderful bird! Can't wait to see more pics!
