Hi! My name is Tiki
I am an Indian Ring-Necked Parakeet from GARDEN GROVE, CA.
 Tiki Tiki. Also now that I have been named "Bird of the Week" and now "Bird of the Month" by BirdChannel.com visitors, my new nickname is "You the Bird!"

 Indian Ring-Necked Parakeet
Seeds, Nutriberries, Banana chips, pizza crust, millet and seeds, seeds, seeds and more seeds. Did I mention I like seeds?
 I like to hang out on my cage top tree branch, but I prefer anyone's shoulder!
 The other birds in the house!
Not getting a piece of popcorn when everyone else is eating it!
 She wrote a great poem about me and the rest of the flock.
I love birds, I love them so,
Life without them I’ll never know.
Each day starts with a meeting,
Chirps and whistles, it’s their own special greeting.
Fresh fruits and veggies to wash and chop,
Served with warm birdie bread to fill each crop.
Toys of wood, leather and bells,
Makes for fun with loud squawking yells.
Feathers and pellets all over my floor,
Does not deter me from loving them more.
As the sun fades we share kisses and scritches,
Then it’s off to each cage with sweet dream wishes.
 I love to pull toys off my cage top tree branch and toss them to the floor and then watch Mom pick them up!
I am also a great little talker. I have several phrases and words that I say, here are a few:
"What are you doing, huh?"
"Peek-a-Boo"
"I Love You"
Who's a good birdie?"
I love feet and when Mom puts her feet next to my cage I will tap my beak on her toes. Mom is trying to teach me to say "Knock Knock, who's there?" when I do this, but so far I really think this is pretty silly to say - doesn't she realize I am knocking on her toes and not on a door? I mean come on, her toes are not going to answer me!.
 I will do anything for a banana chip!.

thankyou for you're reply to my question on sayde's former mom. jack who is currently bird of the week was from san jose and we have lost track of his breeder, seema. it shows from a search here at our legal office that she may have passed away but we cannot find any information on her. she was 40 and a wonderful person. congrats tike you are a pretty boy. here's a vote for you! have a good day.. autumn's mom.Come visit me, Pepper, J.B. Tweety needs your votes for her poem. Her foot had to be amputated Feb. 26th due to the main blood supply being cut in her leg. We had to separate her from her cage mate. I wanted to get her a big cage to move (fly around) in and after paying 258.00 for her leg to become amputated we could not afford to buy her the cage of her dreams. My mom loves Ringnecks but at times the ones she's met were a little screechy....hurts her ears and she gets migraines easily....so I like to be a little quieter to help her out.Come visit me, Pogey & Morgan.
