Isabel (Vosmaerie Eclectus, is high maintence. She eats a lot(mostly) people food. fruits, veggies, chicken, turkey, steak, potatoes, sweet potatoes. Of course birdie mash, pellets(very little) birdie bread, and so much more. They are very healthy eaters. Great forum and website is www.landofvos.com to learn and get support and educated.
An amazing creature. Not cuddly for the most part but love being with you.
Not like a parakeet who just eats seeds or any bird that just eats pellets. Breafast, lunch and dinner-and snacks in between. Many people who work have them and they adapt just fine.
