I dont know if you would remeber us but when we joined here months ago, you were the very first one to welcome us. Mum has just been going back over the list of friends that we have met and noticed we haven't come and said hello for ages! Please forgive us, our secretary mustn't haave been wearing her glasses. It's a beautiful Spring day here in meelbourne (Australia) and we're just about to go outside to soak up the sunshine and watch the sparrows playing funny games. How have you been anyway? SOME VACATION!!!! Mama has had it rough. Yesterday Rocky the dog had to go for his annual shots. He only get his rabbies shot evert three years and this was the year. He was a handful in the vets office with all the other doggies. HIPPER YIKES. She is hardly ever around other doggies. And Dr. Jack decided mama didn't do a good enough clipping his nails and did it himself. He hit the quick and made Mama mad...... Today mama had to get her oil changed and had to replace a belt. GROAN!!! This has been a long day and mama is tired so this will be a generic blog...We are sorry fot that. Hello from Bowdon Jct.
Just wanted to check in. We haven't been able to go online for a few days because Mama was tired. Jazz Worked really hard to get Daddys attention ( He didn't like her and didn't want anything to do with her at first ) And she finally did and now he loves her and she loves him and mama is just cast aside. Hee hee heeeee. Daddy said she is the smartest of all because she is learning so many things so fast. Mama said all her birds are smart in different ways. Rosey likes to pick on Mama and try to get her freckles and whatever else might no be perfect off her. Niah is the sweetest little bird and hardly ever makes any noise and we have to remember to pet him because he is so quiet we hardly know he is there. Bongo is his same old self and still thinks he owns Mama. We are looking for a different cage for Jazz so we can separate her and Bongo. He likes to be greedy with the food and tries to keep Jazz on the floor of the cage. Well We hope all is well with you . Thanks for all the encouragement and support..I suppose I was a bit sassy with the boys..Oh Well, they are stepping up, ...perching ....and ...taking notice. ...........Patrick accepted a challenge yesterday and ......Waaaaa lah! ......... HE did it.. ............It is a made up story, of course, but HE DID IT.!. (See his limerick of the day on his page under his motto) Edgar Allen Chirp bet he couldn't do it......... It makes no sense to me. He told me I'd understand when I gew up...SEE HE IS STILL PUTTING ME DOWN...... I AM NOT DUMB..I just haven't learned everything yet. That is OK by me. I’m a ‘new fid on the block’ too! I can get what it’s like to have to try to break the ice, and start making new friends here on the BirdChannel. I may live in the South, but I’m FROM the North, so I know ‘breaking ice!’ So I said to myself, I said “Self, wouldn’t it be easiest to start off talking to fids who are just as nervous as you are?
