 Ophelia is actually a Goffin's, but there was no listing for that.. She was a rescue, I got her when she was 7 months old. A woman came into my work and was telling me how she had some birds she wanted to get rid of, and I should come see them. I grudgingly agreed, and there was this poor little thing, terribly neglected, absolutely horrible diet. I opened the cage and she leaped on me, just wanting to be cuddled. The woman tried to pick her up, she bit, and the woman hit her. That was it, I couldn't leave her there. So I took her and found homes for the other birds (various cockatiels and lovebirds). She's incredible, such a charmer. I could not be without this bird. She's my doll.. |

Pine nuts, cedar nuts, apple, pasta, orange juice.
 On the bouncy perch, with the ring toy, shoulder.
 Being ignored! When food or drink is not shared, having her picture taken, new toys/perches/et- c.
 Crazy singing and dancing time!
 Loves dancing, favorite song is 'Drop It Like Its Hot', becoming hopelessly entangled in my hair, ripping the glasses off my face, hiding food under her wings, wearing an acrylic ring as a hat (also doubling as a head-scratcher)- , trying to eat the couch..

From one goffin to another to come by and hit the vote thing for ya. Glad you are in such a great home. I'm a rescue and was on a terrible diet and lost lots and lots of feathers. My dad helped me get much better and I can fly again.
