 Jude was my 3rd rescue. Someone came into my work talking about how they love birds and all. I asked what she had and she told me, plus "one that I don't know what it is.." Apparently she had had this poor thing for over 10 years, just locked in a tiny dirty cage and ignored in a corner. Didn't even care to find out what she had. I swear, I felt like I got a workout from the effort it took to be civil to this woman. So anyway, I told her if she ever wanted to get rid of him (which turned out to be her) to call me. Fortunately she did. Jude does not step up, but she loves being out and getting attention. She'll step up on a perch now, so she's progressing. I keep hoping the woman will stop back in so I can show her the amazing bird she gave up.. |

My name is Cheyenne and I'm also a Meyer's Parrot. Mommy calls me her Miss Attitude Bird just cause I want ALL of her attention. So what's wrong with that?? LOL Do you hang upside down in your cage? I am wondering if you are interested in playing baseball this year. There was not a Meyer's team last year, but I think if enough of us were interested, we could make a team.
Let me know. I would manage it if no one else is interested, but if you want to play, and are interested in being team manager, that is also good.

Hello, my name is Charlie and I think I'm in love!! lol You are such a pretty girl Meyer's. My owner died and his relatives took me to a dumpy pet store, until my momma found me. Aren't we Meyer's parrots neat lil birds? I'm lucky the elderly gentlemen that owned me was very nice to me because I don't mind stepping up and I LOVE to be scratched on the neck. I scratch myself on the neck I love it so much. :) Just showin some love to my fellow Meyer's Parrots on BirdChannel. I wish you a long and happy life Jude!
