 Cleo came to us immediately after we lost our Cherry Lace, Ralphies bonded mate who died of a genetic birth defect in her pancreas. I was so concerned about Ralphie going into depression that I got him Cleo for company. They were happy until Belle-Porthos came into the picture and a love triange developed- Cleo loved Belle-Porthos. Ralphie loved Cleo. Belle-Porthos [yes, a boy] loved both Ralphie and Cleo equally.. |

EVERYONE PLEASE READ
I am so sad to post this message today. Julie, Cleo's mother and caregiver, has passed away today from pneumonia. It was rather sudden and unexpected, but peaceful, according to Julie's husband. I will post more information as I get it, in the meantime, please give your featherd babies and extra kiss in Julie's name, I am sure she would love that.

Hey Cleo! Yep, I just love peanuts in the shell and peanut butter. My person is worried I'll get tired of the toast so she's gonna buy me some pizza tomorrow to put the meds on. Yep, the antibiotics are flavored with some tuti-fruity or bubble gum flavor...so I can taste it sometimes and she has to try to spread mayo on it if I don't eat it with the PB. This is Buddy's Mom! He asked me to blog all his friends and let them know he hasn't forgotten about them...he is concentrating on his photography skills and didn't bring his laptop!!We hope you are enjoying all of the picture's "we" are taking..some of you who only have 1 picture on your page are NOT making it easy for MOM to do her magic!!!Anyway..we are having fun here in Charleston and keeping an eye on all the couples..they are always trying to sneak off for "alone" time, but I am known as the "EVIL EYE CHAPERONE" so nobody is getting away with any shannigans!!We have a very big finale planned so be sure to stop by jake's place each day..and hey..don't forget about me, ok?? We are now in the dining room where Dad stays most of the time. We can see the fish swim. They are larger than us. It is great fun. Hello Cotton Ball here, I speaking up for my flock, We survived more storms. Winds were 70 mph and it rained hard.. We didn't get hail or tornados... YEA! Well, Ellie/Ellery ( whoever this finch is) and I are living together now.(Don't worry Tiki, I have eyes for you alone, my love) We have our own cage and are getting on quite well. Mom is watching our behaviors. Linda and Lonnie are living in a cage together now. Mom sayd that it is difficult to know the gender of the Society Finches. Fortune and Patrick are getting on Mom's shoulder TOGETHER every chance they get..It is amazing how well they are getting along now.
