My name is Raven and I'm a Nanday. I happened to be wandering around and found you and WOW you are gorgeous. Your colors are fantastic! You sure have a LARGE flock. Did I see something about a Sanctuary? My 'mom' volunteers at a sanctuary here on the weekends called The Lily Sanctuary. Thats where she adopted Clyde from (he's on my page so you can come visit anytime to hear his very sad story, but he is VERY happy now that he has a forever home. He did love the sanctuary as well because it was a great place to be but now he loves our mom!) :)
Anyhow, just wanted to fly by and admire you. I see you like bananas too! Yipppee! Here's a vote for you!

FLYING BY
Howdy from the Flock. We have been good little fids. The sun finally came out so we have been singing for Mom all day. Mom finally caught our bathing on film. Charlie got the top billing for tomorrow - so we gave him feathered high-fives. Jack and Sophie get to stay in the pink room now but Mom brings them down to see us in the afternoons. He is much happier now. Mom says his feathers should be back in a few weeks. Humphrey peeped his sorries so he is back in the aviary with us. Stop by and see us soon.Come visit me, FINCH FLOCK.

WHAT A DAY
It was a good thing Mommy came home early today. Humphrey decided to take a liking to Sophie. He must have forgot that she is Jack's girl. Well the feathers were flying. Jack was plucked on the neck. Mommy has moved him and Sophie to the very special cage and they are in the pink room now. He should be back in a few days. We are all mad at Humphrey and he is sleeping by himself tonight. I’m a ‘new fid on the block’ too! I can get what it’s like to have to try to break the ice, and start making new friends here on the BirdChannel. I may live in the South, but I’m FROM the North, so I know ‘breaking ice!’ So I said to myself, I said “Self, wouldn’t it be easiest to start off talking to fids who are just as nervous as you are?
