I actually came from the Sanctuary where Cathy volunteers, so maybe we were meant to be together anyway! Now Chez came here from someone else who didn't want her and I have a beautiful girlfriend!!. |

Ahh, aren't the two of you the luckiest! You look so happy in each other's company. I'm envious really. I'd love to have a gal pal here that would itch my itches when they itch and let me do the same for her. For now I have to be content with Zoren's preening skills. He's really pretty good. I feel bad when I try and return the favor because I'm so short and reach all his taller spots unless he practically tips himself upside down so I can reach his head. We work it out though. You two though, it looks like you've already got it all worked out and that's super.

Well YA WHOOOOO, and yipppee dooo!! This has totally made me day. Positively, most definitely. YES!
Okay, I'm calmin' down now. So that's you on the left and Chez on the right. Good. I got it correct. Shoooo. And yeah, you're lookin' all shexy with the wet look. What a dude. No wonder Chez fell for ya. I would've, wet or dry. Okay, before this starts soundin' weird... See ya you can do about gettin' your gal-pal more comfortable in front of that camera. I bet after spendin' more time with you, she'll pick up on the fact that things not gonna capture her soul and run off with it. I myself am doin' better with picture taking. Used t'be I had t'bounce up and down, in and out of the viewfinder so that all of me was rarely visible in a photo. I stand still a little bit more now but that might have somethin' t'do with the nut in my foot. It's hard t'jump around on only one leg, at least for me. You look like you do pretty good on just one leg...

I kid you not, I was just thinkin' about comin' to your page. I'm having a lucky day and gettin' some BC writing time and since I'm pretty much caught up with the notes on my page from the month of January (I've had to forget about all the ones I didn't answer in December), I thought I'd just start randomly pickin' names and goin' out t'say HELLO. Yours would've been one of them. Imagine my surprise (go ahead, imagine it... I'll wait.... ) Okay, imagine my surprise at discovering you'd just been to MY page. WHAT TIMING!!

Always so great t'find a note from you on my page. Nevermind that it took me like half a week t'discover it. Got a question for ya- what's goin' on with you and Chesty? MMmmm? Come'on, do tell! I seen a picture of the two of you last night where you were lookin' pretty chummy. That's cool, Dude! 'Course that might mean there's now no room for me in your fafa if you're sharin' the space with C. And thanks for the offer of lettin' me stay with you since I'd lost my man cave. You're a pal. As for you bein' a bachelor, somethin' tells me Chesty would probably lay down all her fruity pellets to make sure you were her date for the evening. I'm touched you'd be willing t'bid on me. How the heck am I?
Good. Darn good. The world is my oyster. Okay my world is my birdroom and I've never had an oyster so how do I even know if I really want one. But whatever. I'm a happy bird and life is good. How 'bout you? How's it going with company there? The Quaker population in Largo is gettin' bigger! You all'll be takin' the place over if you haven't already. You have, haven'tcha. I knew it.
Not a whole lot of earthshattering news t'share from here. In fact, there's none whatsoever. I spend my day wanderin' around on the floor of my room, draggin' a towel around like a security blanket. I got ousted from my closet cubby hole. Mom wasn't too happy about my rippin' up a batch of carpet in there so she filled in my precious hang out spot with storage boxes. Now, when the closet doors are open, all I get t'do is stand there and stare at what used t'be my man cave. I feel like a homeless parrot, stuck with a cardboard box as my dude-ranch. Come t'think of it, this IS earthshattering news. My world's been crushed. I think I'm depressed now. Hug for me?

I had to fly over and tell you thanks for spending some time with me last night. I always have fun with you. YOu are a very good dancer too. I hope you had a good time.
Today was a very nice day cause Mom spent lots of time with us. Poor Chesty was startled off of his cage and smacked his beak on the floor, it was bleeding. Moms really worried about that boy cause he always seems to hit his head. She just know hes gonna give himself brain injury. It gets him lot of cuddling time.
How are things at your place? I hope they are settling down some. We need to get together soon.

I smell a little vinegar because momma is showering me with vinegar water (1 tsp white vinegar to 1 pint of water). She found out that I am plucking a little and chewing on my wing. The vet found icky bacteria on my skin, and the vinegar water showers are supposed to kill (or discourage) the bacteria. I don't like the showers. I hate getting my back wet.
By the way, we listened to your momma's CD on the way to the vet. I like it. Momma likes it too, she likes it a lot. I had to protest when momma tried to "sing" along to "Rambling Woman Blues". PhotonCome visit me, Duchess Malachite Bratbird, Hal ♥s Angel & Photon.
