 Mommy saw in the newspaper that someone was giving away a male IRN for free. She called the lady and told her that she would take me...without seeing me or anything! Mommy learned that my previous owner had me as an 'ornament' for 13 years until he got cancer and his sister had to take care of me. That's where mommy found me a year later and came and brought me to my forever home! Hatchday: July 22nd, 1993. |

I am an Indian Ring-Necked Parakeet from Prinsburg, MN.
 Well, my real name is Zebediah, but Mommy likes to call me Zebe, Zebers, or SweetBoy...I kinda like that one too.

MILLET!! And carrots! Yummy! Oh OH, and Cheerios! Mommy is learning that I'll eat just about anything. Hehehe!
 My new hang out spot is either on top of Ellie's cage (it's really high!!) or behind it where I can reach her rawhide toy and ring the bell! I'm getting very brave and like to come out of my cage and fly around!
 Right now I am scared of any hands coming into my cage (unless they are carrying millet!). I'm really shy and nervous, but if you leave me alone you can hear me sing and talk to myself.
 She is very patient with me when I get scared or nervous, but she also won't give up or stop trying to love on me...even when I bite her hard! I can tell that she really loves me.
 I do this funny dance where I run back and forth on my perch a couple times and then make a funny pose with my wings out and tail fanned. I've been known to do this over and over for 30 minutes straight. Oh and I'm also learning to scream like my new conure brother, Huey. It's not as loud or shrill, but it's fun to copy him!.
 There is nothing better than knowing you've found your forever home..
