 I wanted a Scarlet for a number of reasons including those beautiful feathers for my hand fans. I saw that poor beak that noone liked her and well here we are. Momma also found out why I have greenish feathers on the back of my head. I am from Bolivia.. |

I am a Bolivian Scarlet
Momma has been driving us all crazy about my olive green patch on the back of my head and she just kept reading and asking questions until she found out from a Professional Macaw Explorer that I am from Bolivia and we all have this patch in Bolivia. We think that my boyfriend Scrappy is from Guatemala because he is so BIG.
