Magician
Actually, Merlin is a performing bird and he is owned by my son who is 14 and has practiced magic since he was 3. He adopted Merlin for his 9th birthday present and works with an adult magic coach. We were pleased that with some TLC and warm foot soaks, he was ready to perform within 6 months of getting him. He is truly a miracle bird and has such a way with the elderly folks at the nursing home. They love him so much and enjoy a little up-close-and-personal time after each show. He's brought joy to so many people since we have had him.Come visit me, Rudy Houdini, Merlin the Magical Dove & Tookee.

I am so happy you took him regardless of his outer apperance. Our dove is from the SPCA because she was picked on by the other doves surrendered with her and she is bald even though its difficult to tell unless you are looking down on her. She too loves her pellets and is quite the character. I never knew doves had so much until actually owning one. Even though she hates us humans! Come visit me, Griffy, Griffin, Jou (lutino) and Hawk (White-face), Sprout, Peanut, Lilly, Ozzie, Boo & Goose.

I love Merlin. Rejected by magicians???? I'm a magician and I would NEVER give up a dove because it had deformed feet. It has nothing to do with the act! Shame on them. Many blessings and lots of love to Merlin! Come visit me, Frosty, Gargoyle, Skadi & Sasha.
