Mom's been really sick in hospital with a joint infection and cant walk. This year has also been very very tough on her so she has not been on bird talk or doing anything except being sick. I hope your well. Hi Friends, news from our flock. Cotton Ball, speaking. I am getting my beak color now. Mom thinks I might be a girl. St.Patrick is lovin' the BOTW attention. He is drivin' Fortune crazy. He pecks on the PC all day and teases Fortune by (disobeying??) his nightly call for all to go to sleep. hehe. Mom tried to get new pics but Lonnie kept flying.. he likes the one on his page. Slate and Mica are chewing up paper. Yesterday, Fortune took a walk and played with the kids down the block. Hi Crash, Yes, I still like to be little sometimes. (blush) It is so much better when Mom feeds me.We checked on somebirdie who needs our prayers. We don't know if Captain Cook (Umbrella Cockatoo missing in Alaska) was found or not. When mom blogged his parronts about his adventures several weeks ago, they said he usually does it in the summer and is not too cold. It can't be summer there now. Do you know anything about cockatoos being trained as homing birds? I had never heard of it until I read his bio. He was trained in Hawaii it said. Here is a vote for you. Crash, that is too scary. My skin sis has a big black kitty.......We can't let him get near us either. He is too sore to jump right now. Sis took him to the vet to "you know"..OUCH. Hi Lonnie here, We are all doing fine. The huge drop in temp, caused tornado's for states east of us. We hate to see the destruction on TV. We are up to 49* this afternoon after low 30s last night.
