I am a Hahn's Macaw from Grosse Pointe Farms, MI.

 Hahn's Macaw
Fruit juice, sunflower seeds, nutra-berries, bites of mama's junk food, cashews.
 In my cardboard box, inside my igloo, or with mama's boyfirend--who I have claimed as my own.
 When my mama makes me get my wings, nails and beak done :( And when she cleans my house destroying all my hard work.
 She feeds me, lets me make my messes, showers me, scratches me, and lets me think her boyfriend is mine :)
 I wait till mama wakes up, looks over at me and I prouldly yell a great big "HI!".
 Make as much noise and as big of a mess as possible.

Hello there mate!!
So sorry I haven't replied back sooner. I have had my owner so busy doing other stuff and typing with my beak just takes so long. Anyway, hope all is well with the flock. I see that you like to bath too, I just love the shower. Taking a shower is just too much fun. My perch runs through the shower spray and I run back and forth and wiggle and shake, so much fun. Gonna hit the vote button for such a beautiful creature such as ourselves.Come visit me, Sage & Rio.

Pookie and Bodhi are back
We've been away from BC for several weeks. We have been so busy helping Mom day and night. We redecorated all the rooms in our place except for Mom's bedroom. We changed so many things. Even the aquarium! Mom took a little time off and used every minute away from work, too. She is not a morning person, but she was up earlier than us painting and cleaning.
We learned to do so many things, like electrical wiring and setting up a wireless home network, complete with encryption. So we were without technology except our mobile wireless device for awhile, which Mom will not let us touch (chew.)
We also watched many films and listened to audio books. So we have come a long way. Bodhi was very social with the company who came to see our results, which Mom was amazed about. I, of course, was the center of attention, and most of the people were remarking about my beauty and intelligence.
We had a great time, and extra hours and hours with Mom, who we gave so much affection to. Riding up and down on the ladder every time Mom went on it was really fun. And to keep our energy up, Mom made us whole grain pancakes. She makes the batter and when the first side is almost cooked, she sprinkles yummy seeds and good things on top, then flips the pancake. Then it gets fruit cut up on it, and 15 seconds in the microwave. Yum. Pookie

Just LOVE your bathing beauty picture! Mom says people like wet bird pictures so much 'cause we look like baby birds when we're all wet!
