Sam is hanging back from all the hatchday
well wishers. Miss Lola is a very happy bird today and Sam starts to sing which ques the band.....

I met her in a club on the old BC where you drink champagne and it tastes just like cherry-Cola C-O-L-A cola.
She walked up to me & she asked me to dance. I asked her, her name and in a deep Macaw voice she said Lola.
L-O-L-A Lola lo lo lo lo Lolaaaaa.

Well, I'm not the world's most physical guy but when she squeezed me tight she nearly broke my spine!

Well, look at that chunky collection of blocks on that there toy. Impressive! There's not much left it now, is there? Tell me that pretty beak of yours has since demolished, destroyed, and de-ducked The Toy Shoppe prize. I can't imagine a macaw doin' anything different. Okay, like I was tellin' Stitch, I don't do much with the little yellow duckies, but I do love to bust those blocks up.

You're lookin' as gorgeous as ever, Miss Lola. What a beauty you've grown into! That's no surprise, of course, seein' as you've been beautiful since the day you sprouted your first downy feathers. That kind of selfless giving warms the cockles of our hearts, sadly there is not enough decent human beings like your sweet momma, and in our uncertain economy, the need for parrot rescue sites is compounding, due to economic and home and lifestyle changes that are being forced on pet owners! Flying by to wish you a very wonderful Memorial Day weekend! Do you have big plans?? It's just a regular weekend for us cause mom works retail and there are no holidays in retail!!LOL Actually, mom says it's one continuous long holiday!!
No sunshine here, but the wind had calmed down and it's in the 60's so I can't complain! I got corn on the cob in my future and I've been busy all week with a lovely new toy I received from a very dear friend!! I have been pelting the dog with wood chips, but I guess she doesn't understand the game, casue she's just laying there doing nothing!!

How are you??? Been trying to catch up on all my hello's---HELLO! We are having a vacation week--whatever that means! Mom is not going to work after she puts me to bed at night, but since I'm asleep when she's gone, it is not really all that different for me.
While I was scrolling down I saw that you and Rainbow were talking laundry! I love laundry and I know Rainbow does too! I have moved on to towels now cause the skin brother was complaining about me throwing his socks all over the room. It's not like they're gonna break!!! Towels however have proven to be more challenging. I think it's cause they are bigger and it takes more time to throw them out of the basket! Such a fun game! I love it that mom lets me be crazy when I want to be! I like helping with dishes too by the way! I know, everyone says dishes are boring, but there are so many ways to make it fun! I always wait for mom to get her hands soapy and then make a break for the dish cloth! HAHAHA Nothing she can do about it at that point!
If you ever get bored with laundry, you should try cleaning off the puter desk. Another great game! You just gotta push everything off on to the floor to win!

We Could Be Related!
And the laundry baskets might prove it! I was up on the back of a dining room chair today, ready and willin' to help fold something. Anything! Like you though, my services were declined. I tell ya, try t'help out and what do ya get? Dismissed. Hurts a guy's feelings, I tell ya. And what is it with that "Not for Lola" line? I hear that one too, except they say "Rainbow" of course. "Not for Rainbow". I say, PROVE IT! I like t'go with the finders, keepers theory. I find lots of things. I should get t'keep'm!

Rain? Mmmm, a little bit last night but today was a beaut! Unfortunately I didn't get t'spend much time outside- mom and her mom went out for a Mother's Day lunch (early, t'beat the crowds). By the time they got back, the wind had picked up again. Ever tried t'keep your feathers all nicely arranged in the WIND? It's annoyingly impossible. Makes me scream!

Tying to catch up on some hello's today! We keep such unusuall hours that there are times I get a tad behind.
So, how have you been?? Enjoying springtime weather out there?? We had a couple of days and now we're back to rain. It didn't get warm enough to open windows yet, but it's improving everyday.
I played my first baseball game yesterday and it was lots of fun. We didn't win but it was still fun. I'm really good at throwing things but I'm gonna have to work on my running. I throw stuff at the cat all the time. He doesn't acknowledge my presence so I throw stuff at him to get him to notice me. After almost 2 years it's still not working!! I like to throw socks too. Mom throws them over my playstand and I toss them back to her. It's loads of fun to watch her miss them and have to pick it up! I've trained her really well! HAHAHA
