 At a bird Expo in Freeport, NY. My cockatiel Angel had passed away a month before. I wasn't planning on buying a new bird that soon after, I just wanted to look at, pick up and hold a few cockatiels for comfort. One cockatiel pushed out of my hand at sat on my finger with a look that said "if I can just sit here, we're ok, otherwise I'm out of here", then tilting his head toward his breeder with a look that said "ok, we met, lets go buy me & go home" What could I do? Buy him & a traveling case & tote him from Freeport LI to Staten Island, NY.. |

 any headgear, hats, scarves,rollers- , and fans
 The big cage she had for me, the great toys she makes for me, the expensive wood playgym she got for me, but most of all the lovely female companion she bought for me (she realized I missed being with other birds & kept her promise of getting me a birdy friend). She got a female cause she thought I was a female and she didn't want to breed me, and well what can I say, now I enjoy the company of 5 other tiels. And, she also gets me the best most expensive food: Noah's Kingdom & Harrisons pellets, plus a spirulina/wheat grass supplement. She loves me and has spoiled me accordingly.
