You are naked like me
Hi my name is Tut I am new to the site and I am 17 . I have been plucking for a while as well. My person took me to the vet last week and I was worked over throughly. I was told I could not stay so close to my step brother Mickey (amazon parrot) because it's too stressful for me and I was told by the vet that my room was too small so my Mom & Dad bought me a nice 3 foot X 24" room. I do not know what to do with such a large pad. They also changed my diet to Dr. Harrisons pelleted diet. I am starting to like it and its more nutritional they say. As long as I get my fresh fruit and veggies ,I can go for it I guess. Hopefully it will allow me to grow my feathers back !!!!!Come visit me, Mickey & Khoda.

You sure are handsome! Feathers aren't everything. I know you're loved because mom had a patagonian conure who was without feathers and she loved him. She had to give him away because I was the first bird and He wanted moms attention way to much and I started plucking. Mom said that one naked boy was enough and Dad was it. I don't know what she meant, but she found Big Bird a new home where he is very happy. His home is where we got Aramina. She's real happy here with us and I don't have to worry about how much attention SHE gets from mom.

We think you are absolutely beautiful! Welcome to the BC! You sound like a big cuddle bunny to your Daddy, and we know you love your Mommy too. We're happy you found such a nice new home, And I know what you mean about only one favorite person handling you. Ethyl screams when Mommy leaves the room and sometimes won't hush up til she comes back, BUT, only Daddy's allowed to touch her. Me,(Fred), I don't let Daddy touch me, but I love to talk to him. We do what we do, and the humans can only guess why. You've got sucha pretty flock there.
