  Yipee, I'm on a roll!
Hi, Simon, I am a cuttin and copying buddy and this one is for you!
BC Baseball League will be holding 1st Annual All-Star Game 1st week in June. So we need to start thinking of who we want for the league's all star team.

Members of each league will vote for the team to represent them at the BIG GAME. We cannot vote for a member of our own team (RATS). Each of us needs to vote for one player at each position and send that name into the BC Baseball League page #123746. Vote ASAP. Thanks.
Now I just wish I knewn how to send this to every birdy at one time but mom hasn't taught me that. Oh, well. Ready to play ball? All righty! See you tomorrow.

Come visit me, Hi, I'm Peter"Tatorhead".

  Hey, Dude
Peter here. Have a new idea maybe will help us win more. We're all gonna choose 15 new #s. I want you to really mix up your choice #s from 1-12 and then repeat two of those #s to create the requested 15 total.
We play Thurs and Sun next week and I want to get this done to we can try our luck with new #s. Several other teams have done the same because the #s were mixed up enough. Turn your #s in to League page #123746.

We are hosting the Baseball Season Spring Training Start Barbeque on Feb. 21st from 4:30 pm EST to midnight and we would love for you and any friends you want to invite to attend. We are cutting it short at midnight because most of the guests will be in training, and we don't want to tempt anyone to fall off their training wheels. The event will be held in New York City where we live; it will be in Central Park which will be closed for our event. Tents are being erected next to the Metropolitan Museum. Turk is catering. We are not providing air transport because we don't want to hurt any geese. Come to my page (Meyer’s Parrot Oliver #94769) which will allow you to teleport to the central tent. Looking forward to meeting you there.

  Sad news everyone
Nyah Lee passed away last nite. Her age and sickness finally caught up with her. She had stopped eating yesterday morning and just sat by her food dish and slept all day. And then later on that nite, my fiance told me I should come to the kitchen where her cage was, and when I saw her, she was laying on her side at the bottom of her cage. So I picked her up and held her in her last moments. She never looked so happy to be in my hands than she did last nite. I cried so much after she finally passed. I don't think she felt any pain cuz she was pretty much paralyzed. I miss her already.

Here are the results of our first game with the Amazons. Our second game is tomorrow. Please stop by and vote for Norman as BOTW. He and his mom do so much to organize the baseball and allow us to have so much fun. They deserve it. Next bit is copied from Norman's page. *** The action didn't get started until the 2nd inning when the Amazons scored 2 runs off of triples from Echo, Andre, Aries and a single from Poco. They got 4 more runs when Stubby and Echo hit doubles and then came the trio of HR's by Asha, Maxie and Gunner. The Quakers finally got on the board in the 4th with a solo HR from Audie. Andre, Poco and Ethyl combined for one more run for the Amazons in the 5th. Otis and Aries would hit HR's with Andre and Echo on base to add to their score. But the story of this game was the defense of the Amazons holding the Quakers scoreless in 7 innings. Between Ben's pitching and the other birdies backing him up the Quakers managed only 3 more runs in the 9th with a single from JoJo and HR's from Little Bit and Micky. Final Score: Amazons 12, Quakers 4. Amazons lead 1-0. [Photon]

The Quakers got 4 hits in the 1st 2 innings from Waddles, Peter, Quincy and LittleBit but could only score 2 runs. To force extra innings after being behind so many runs was just amazing Simon. You played well, as did the entire team. I am so proud of us all. I hope the series goes to all 7 games. Photon. Results copied from Norman's page *** BATTLE OF THE LITTLE GREEN BIRDS, Quakers vs. Senegals, GAME 5. With the series tied 2-2 both teams came ready to play. Quaker pitcher Micky was ready for the Sennies when he struck out the side in the 1st. The Quaker offense got rolling right away with hits from Simon, Waddles, Peter, River and Photon to take any early 3-0 lead. That seemed to fire up the Sennies with singles from Codie, Orion and Niah and with bases loaded came rookie LoverBoy's grand slam HR. Two other rookies, Mango and Lola would also hit HRs to vault the Senegals into the lead. For the next 4 inning, the Quaker offense went no where as the Senegal defense covered the field like a carpet. In those innings, the runs would continue with Sage, Kiwi, Norman, Coco and Kiddo adding 4 more runs in the 3rd. The Quakers made a pitching change to JoJo but the hits kept coming. In the 4th, Hal, Orion, Pippin and Niah would add 3 runs and in the 5th, it was EA, Mango, Lola, Sage and Savannah adding another 3. In the 6th, it was Kiddo, SweetPepper, Kayne, Hal and Codie's turn to add 4 more runs. The Senegals seem like they were on cruise control with a huge lead but the Quakers had something to say about it. Their defense would finally stop the Senegal offense for the rest of the game but had 3 innings to play catch-up and the Quakers did not disappoiont. In the 6th, it was singles from River, Photon, Quincy and LittleBit, a double for Micky and HR shots by JoJo and Waddles. Senegal manager Norman brought in relief pitcher Coco but the runs continued in the 7th with hits from River, Photon, LittleBit, Micky, JoJo and Audie. Pippin was the 3rd pitcher for the Senegals but the runs continued in the 8th with hits from Waddles, Peter, River, Quincy, Jade and Micky. The Quakers would end up tying the game at 23. Both defenses held for the 9th which meant extra innings. Senegal SweetPepper would hit a double and Kayne sent a HR shot into center field to put the Senegals into the lead 25-23. The Quakers would hit back to back triples from Waddles and Simon but that only resulted in 1 run. Final Score: Senegals 25 Quakers 24. Senegals lead the series 3-2. Next game will be Tuesday. Macaws will play the Amazons tomorrow. The Amazons are going for the sweep..

My typing slave has been failing in her duties, and has not been available to copy the game results to my team. The news is all good though. We have a few wins under our belts now. We can not rest on our laurels though as our next game is tomorrow. *** Game 3 results: BATTLE OF THE LITTLE GREEN BIRDS, Quakers vs. Senegals, GAME 3. It was 3 up 3 down for the Sennies for the start of game 3. The Quakers scored 1 run when Quincy hit a single and scored off of Little Bit's triple. In the 2nd, Peanut and Sage would score when Norman belted a triple into left field. However the 2nd inning belonged to the Quakers. The fireworks started with a triple from Audie followed by back to back HRs by Simon and Waddles. Singles by Peter and River were followed by Quincy's HR shot into right. Senegal starting pitcher Savannah was relieved by CoCo but to no avail. Little Bit and Jade hit singles and scored when Micky hit a triple. Then JoJo and Waddles had back to back doubles. Rookie Pippin became the 3rd Senegal pitcher who finally was able to quiet the Quaker bats but the damage had been done totaling 9 runs. The Senegals answered with doulbes by DJ and Kayne and a HR by Kiddo but then the Quaker infield of Peter, Simon, Little Bit amd River retired the Senegals. The Senegal defense kicked back into gear holding the Quakers scoreless for 3 innings. The Sennies got 3 runs back with singles from Peanut, Sage and Sweetpepper. A double from Kiwi, Niah's triple and Hal's HR added to their score but the Senegals were still behind with 3 innings to play. Quaker pitcher Kiwi was in the zone. The Quakers padded their lead in the 7th when Waddles, Simon, Photon and Little Bit hit for the cycle. The Senegal bats came out strong in the 8th with singles by Norman, DJ, Kiddo and SweetPepper and had bases loaded when the Quaker outfield of KJ, Waddles, Jade and Audie closed the gaps for amazing catches denying the powerful Senegal offense. The Sengals needed a big 9th to surpass the Quakers. They would quickly load the bases with hits from Orion, Pippin and Niah and with bases loaded the Quaker defense came through. Final score: Quakers 21, Senegals 9. Senegals lead the series 2-1. Senegals have requested time to regroup and are bring up 4 players from their minor league team: the NY Senegals. Lover boy, EA, Lola and Mango will join the team in time for this weekend's games. Tomorrow is Game 3 for the Amazons and the Macaws. Amazons lead 2-0..

We had a good game but just couldn't quite pull off a win. Great hitting during the game, Simon. Here are the results. *** The Senegal bats were hot early with singles from Hal and SweetPepper but the Quaker infield of Audie, Simon, Peter and River would prevent any scoring after an outstanding double play. Audie and Waddles opened up the offense for the Quakers with singles followed by a HR blast by Peter which gave the Quakers an early lead. The Senegals would quickly answer with a single from Orion followed by a HR by Niah. Photon and Little Bit’s double and triple would result in a run before the Senegal outfield of DJ, Kanye, Hal and Codie started catching some flies. Quaker pitcher Micky fanned the Senegals in the 3rd and the Quakers would load the bases with hits from JoJo, Simon and River but the Senegal outfield would leave the Quakers stranded and scoreless. In the 4th, DJ and Kiddo got on base only to be thrown out by the Quaker infield once again. Jade and Micky would get on base only to be left stranded when Senegal pitching ace Savannah fanned the Quakers. The 5th inning was very similar to the previous innings with Senegals Orion, Pippin and Niah reaching the bases but this time it was the Quaker outfield of Waddles, KJ, Jade and Audie doing the catching. Peter and Simon would get base hits but now the Senegal infield of Sage, Norman, Kiwi and SweetPepper got the job done. The Senegal offense finally got rolling in the 6th with 7 straight hits by Savannah, Kiwi, CoCo, DJ, Kiddo, SweetPepper and Hal. Quaker relief pitcher Sunny was brought in to retire the side but the damage of 5 runs had been done. The Quakers only answer was a solo HR by Little Bit. The next 3 innings would see HR’s by Senegals SweetPepper, Kanye and Pippin which meant the Quakers would need a big 9th after being shut out in the 7th and 8th. The Quakers responded with a triple by Little Bit and doubles by Peter and Jade. Senegal manager Norman quickly made a pitching change and brought in rookie Pippin in relief. The Quaker bats remained hot with hits from Audie, Micky and a huge HR by JoJo but in the end the Quakers would come up just short. Final Score: Senegals 14 Quakers 12. Senegals lead the series 2-0 .Game 3 is Wednesday. Tomorrow is game 2 for the Amazons and Macaws. Amazons lead 1-0..

  Hi from Maxie the WonderBird!
Hey Simon! Yep, I think that was the Pet Warehouse, wasn't she a beauty? And geez, lorys are SUPPOSED to be a bit hyper. They didn't look like they took very good care of those birds, and you gotta watch the dates on their pellets and seed. Seems a little dirty in there, too. If and when we get around to going into Springfield to the car dealer, we'll check them out again. We've had enough rain, it was good to go a week without it. Don't know why it kept missing you... Have a good evening...Cya...

Come visit me, Maxie WonderBird -Thanks for BOTD! & 10 Grand HOF Club - Welcomes DIXIE!!.
