I'm now back in all my green and blue glory!! I wanted to fly by and personally thank you for all your support cause without you I could not have aspired to the top four bird dancers at all!! Glad you could stop by and visit me!! Seems like our peoples got the same thing! Please put on your Dr. hat and make them feel all better!! Mom also has been a bit under the weather so I have not been able to peck out to my buddies much. Things are about the same here, still dancing and talking to peoples about my dancing. Mom has been giving me lots of birdie bagels to chew up, I think I'm getting nervous about the end of the contest!! LOL! We all went out to a pet fair and learned peoples about parrots, it was me, Shasta, Codi and Pickles. We all do a very good job, Shasta does the best as she will let everyone hold and pet her...I don't like that part I just play on my stand and look beautiful!! guess that makes me a parrot model. Wanted to flap by and give you a peck on the votie thingy. Mom tried KAYTEE Yogurt Dips (Strawberry Banana), KAYTEE Awesome Blends (Island Luau), and 8-in-1 Birdie Bananas. The flock still isn't used to the Birdie Bananas and Yogurt Dips, but they do love the Awesome Blend. I think that's cause it has dried papaya and pineapple in it--one of the flock's favorite treats. Mom cleaned cages today and gave Abercrombie and Rebecca new toys. A love bug is a small, annoying insect. It is black except for a orange spot on its head. When they mate they stick together! Literally. They're attached at the end. Imagine how hard it must be to fly attached to your mate! You can go on Google Images and search "love bug insect" to see what they look like. Hey Elwood! You know, when I was living at the Bird Park, they used to make sure that they had figs (that had been dried and frozen, so they had to thaw them and soak them a little) for certain birds. The rare Fig Parrots HAD to have them every day, it was a big part of their natural diet. They also gave them to the big Hornbills once a week or so, there must have been something in them that they required, as well. We ORDINARY birds there never got any.
