Active within 537 Days Hi! My name is Tiki I am an African Grey from Duke Center, PA. Tiki bird. Tiki loves to yell out his own name Tiki Bird. 14 years old M African Grey Grapes and apples. He has even been known to ask for an apple. It's grilling time, and I love Chicken and Steak so much I never drop a crumb unless I am very full. I also love when my mom cooks for me. She makes Brown rice, and legumes with mixed vegs. It's so good. We all get it, and love it too. Tiki loves to hang out on his play gym, and he has a windows view. New toys are scary, it takes me days to find out I can go up and play with them. Tiki and my 3 dogs have an agreement, it's called time share. If Tiki thinks the dogs are having to much time with me he lets off a very lound clapping noise and the dogs go running out of the room. The dogs know Tiki means business. I like when new people come to the house, but I won't talk in front of them, I like to abserve them. I am spoiled and I love it. Tiki's door is always open on his cage when I am home. Sometimes when I am very busy and running around cleaning up Tiki will climb down from his cage and waddle over to see what all the fuss is about. If I do not pay any attention to him he will sneak up on me and nibble on my toe to get my attention. Tiki will talk your ear off when I walk out of the room.. You have to love the Gray's..

Thank you, tweet! I do agree with you the fischer lovebirds are the most beautiful out of the Lovebird family. I have always wanted one but now I well have two, oops! But I do love them very much and Just had to have them. I have been getting ready for one of the two to come home today and I am not sure if it is male of female, so I called her diva, and if it turns out to be male divo,hehhhhheh! Tuki says hi to Tiki! Saw your name on another blog. We must be twins, with our similar names! I talk a lot, too. Hope you had a nice 4th of July. I make beeping noises, too. It is the microwave that I copy, I do 5 beeps in just the same tone it uses. When the phone rings, I say hello in the voice of my original owner. Hey Tiki! Thanks for the comment =) I'm still waiting for my mom to give me some mashed potatoes. She wanted to teach me some more words, but she never keeps up with it. She was for a little while, I almost had it, until she kinda forgot about it =/ Right now, I only know "Hello," "Whatcha doin?" and when my old owner was teaching me to step up on his finger, I learned how to say it instead of stepping up. Hi Tiki from California Sunset Oh your big!! Thanks for coming to visit me and saying that about my pictures. Mom says I am a silly bird. But guess what? I got named Birdie Hero of the Year in 2005. Mom says I should have had a ceramony at the White House but the guy that lives there would not let me in cause I am a bird. I saved a baby Parrotlets life one day. When my brother Tat2 was a baby I used to warn Mom that he had flipped over on his back in the brooder and she would fix him, well one day I was watching the 2 baby Plets in the brooder and one stopped breathing. I screamed for Mom and she did this CPR thing on the baby and rubbed him real hard. He started to breath again. So Mom made me a yummy birdy bread and said I was Cali Birdy Hero Of the Year..Cool huh? Well, come visit me again your big but I guess we could hang out, your pretty cool too. I bet even though they say I can't talk ever cause I am a Sun Conure that you could teach me a few words. Some day Mom wants an African Grey too. Hi from Freddy Tiki didn't feel like writing today, but I just had to tell you that I like sweet potatoes, too. Mom gave me a big chunk of one from her Thanksgiving dinner, and I snarfed up the whole thing!! She couldn't believe it. Anyway, Mom was wondering where your Mom got your playgym.
