 My grandmother had a yellow parakeet named Lucy and a green 'keet named Ricky. When Ricky (Who I had picked out) died, Lucy (Who my sister had picked out) was sad and lonley. So I went to pick out a new bird with my grandmother. The lady at the store went to get a bird with a net she caught it, and was about to close the door when another bird came out. The little bird was a sweet male. I reached down, and he jumped onto me hand. The lady put the other bird back, and I took Buddy home.. |

Uh, bird food, I guess. No I know! I like those hanging treats from the store, but i LOVE it when my mom "refills" them by covering them in Peanut Butter and them sprinkling birdseed on them. YUM!
 I love to sit on my blue perch. I wish I were near the PC, though.
 Loud noizes and my owner's dog (Lady) but I REALLY hate when mom forgets to tell me how Ms. Daisy is.
 She loves to play and talk to me. And she tells me how Ms. Daisy is and I tell her what to tell Ms. Daisy.
 I love Ms. Daisy. She's very sweet and always gives hugs. My "roomie" is annoying so I spend load of time on th PC just lookin at Daisy Mae..

The holidays were fantastic. I cannot remember anything like them in my past. Who is your girl... I am sure she will be here before your engagement party. Is this a surprise for her? My new mom told me that my old dad’s wife and the kids want to come by and visit and see all the birds. Mom told them yes, but the rules are going to be quite strict. No touching any of us, for starters… and most of all Mom wants to show how I have come along. She told me she is going to remind the lady to remember something for me for Christmas, because she is sure it is something my dad would have wanted. lol I go through toys so fast, why not. I have never in my life had so much new food to try – everything has been fantastic. Oh, okay, there are a couple of things I hope Mom doesn’t give me again but I did try them like she asked me to, before putting my beak up at them and saying I don’t like it. Thanks to everybirdie here on the Bird Channel, this week has been incredible. I am not looking forward to it ending but all good things must come to an end, and it will be Vinnie’s turn… I am still in awe over how many new friends I have made here. I started 2 weeks ago with a few good friends here, and with a little help from them, I have met the best of the best, which includes each and everyone of you, my new friends. Thank you for just being who you are! Merry Christmas from Lee-Roial
It is still dark at the castle but I am awake... waiting for my flock to arrive and have breakfast and open all those presents with me. I am excited. This is the Christmas I will remember as being the most fun for me ever. Thanks to my new family, but also to you and all my new friends here, I have found what life should be. Let this be the Merriest of Christmases to you and yours. If you can, stop by the castle to have a drink and some food with my family and friends. There is no real party going on here. It is just an invitation to stop by and chat everytime you stop by the castle to see me. I had the staff set out some platters of fruit and vegetables, nuts, pizza, cheese sticks and more for the occasion. Today I already smell wonderful smells...
