 We first met when Kalina was at the petstore I was being sold in. There bird had died and there other cockateil ( Kalipsa) needed a buddy. They saw me and thought I was beautiful and adorable, so they got me. Now I live happily with my cage mates Sunny and Kalipsa. Sunny is nice. You should see his profile soon. I don't know if her eggs was fertile or not. She is supposed to be "betrothed" to Caspian, but she appears to be having a fling with Chrissy, who is supposed to be with Whinny, who appears to be with Merly, who is supposed to be twith Angel, and Angel appears to be going after Capsy. Have fun birdy shopping! Kiwi got a who;e bunch of tissue paper (her favorite) and a bunch of wooden destructo toys. The budgies got various cue shiny toys. No one got stuck in stockings this year. Christopher is doing better. I found him snezzing up blood a few days ago, and rushed him to my vet at Parkway. Chrissy is a runt, and had severe Giardia as a chick (he's a rescue) so he didn'y grow properly. You can
t tell just how off he is by looking at him, because he is incredably fluffy, but his wings and tail are normal sized, his head is a little bit smaller, and his body in tiny. As a result, he doesn'y have normal lungs or heart. We think he inhaled a seed hull, which in a normal bird would result in a humerouse sneezing fit, but in Chrissy is very very bad. That's cute that your dad can catch her. It's the same with Kiwi. She runs from me, but Grampa can always catch her. My budgies have made the unfortunate discovery that there are more of them than there are of me. When I want to catch them to put them in their houses, they scatter in all directions and hide. It gets interesting. Nope, no snow for me (I'm in Michigan.) Just lots of mud. We normaly get a white Easter instead of Christmas. What did you get your guys for Christmas? Kiwi got a wooden tree, and the budgies get treats. Normally I get them more, but I just paid $300 in vet bills, so that was their Christmas gift. Do your guys open their own presents? Thank you! Merly's mate is Angel. Reeps and Caspy are also paired up, and Whinny and Chrissy. I got Merly's name from the wizard. I wanted to call him Merlinous Ambrousious, but he is way too silly a bird. Angel was born around Christmas, so that's how she got hers. Reep, one of Merly's kids, got her name from the Chronicals of Narnia (before the movie came out) as did her brothers, Bree and Puddleglum. Capsy got named after a sea faring character from the same series because he loves water. The name Christopher just suited him, and the other two are from Lord of the Rings.
